One of the best titles of 2000ad, I’ve always wondered why they didn’t get at least a short tv series or a video game , I’m from the other side of the world yet I really loved to read strontium dogs stories whenever I could get some. From second hand shops of course 😅 thanks for this beautifully made motion comic.

Yes, most of the comics in the spinner racks are the ones I bought as a child, recently I was able to purchase a few missing copies to make complete runs and enjoy rereading the stories all over again.

This well predates Laser Squad and X-COM, so I would propose, until someone comes up with a counterexample, that this is the first turn based tactical fire-team game. It has all the ingredients of the later games, including opportunity fire and snap and aimed shots.

Yes, you are quite correct, lots of new rules to take onboard, overlooked the 'No unit can have more than one Enhancement' in the Select Units section of the Core Rules. Will probably keep First to the Fray for the Grand Master in Nemesis Dreadknight, as a similar reactive move can be achieved using the Mist of Deimos stratagem triggered by movement as opposed to shooting.

By the time Laser Squad was released I had moved onto Personal Computers of the era and although I was aware this game had been released for PC, I never played it back in the day.
