Not to bash anybody, but the example I looked at was not very nice: scales were recessed from the tang.. whether or not this was intentional, I don’t know. But the machine marks on the blade and the uneven finishing of the spine/jimping was enough for me to not even look further. I love Buck and this is a $200 knife. I would love to look at the elite, but I’m not going to take any chances on ordering it.

Ordered! 1/10 is my birthday! How could I not. I just got my first buck in December and already was itching to get another. This was perfect! I got a text from you alerting that this one came out and was blown away with the coincidence! Looks interesting without pins.. kinda made me question it a bit. But I still bought it. I trust ya!

How about instead of investing resources into buck of the month, you invest resources into resolving the rampant QC issues. Just about half of the knives I have ever purchased from you had something wrong with them

Seriously? I've been buying Buck for over 30 years, have an OG Buck 110 from the early 70s...never a single issue. And of you did have an issue...call them. They actually have real live customer service that will help you out and a lifetime warranty

@ what does having a 70s Buck 110 have anything to do with what I just said? I own one as well and I daily carry my great-grandpa’s early 80s Buck 110 every day. Anyway, I do call, and I have returned about 10 knives that I have bought in the last 2 years for warranty. The most frustrating one was I recently bought 3 Slim Selects. Two of them came out of the box with completely loose thumb studs and the other had some obvious front to back blade play when locked. I am just astounded how those can even leave the factory. aren’t they hand sharpened and polished before being boxed? It doesn’t even make sense and frankly I have been buying less Buck since that incident. I used to buy Bucks as gifts and ship them directly to peoples houses but now I can’t confidently do that anymore because I can’t trust that the knife will be of acceptable quality. I love Buck and own so many that I can’t tell you how many I even have. But I’m the last few years I have had issues with half of the knives that I purchased and it hurts for me to say that but they just aren’t who they used to be. I am not the first person to say this, many people have had recent bad experiences

I have learned to like the imperfections. I’m with you though and not one has been perfect. I like that it has that hand crafted appeal but two or three times it was a little aggravating. True the customer service came through no worries but it is kind of disappointing when your knife isn’t fully assembled. This 110 has really nice handles and felt great so I look forward to getting it back from Buck!

I bought one for myself and one for my son this Christmas. While I’ve had only a limited amount of time to carry and use the buck 110. I can say that so far it has been a great experience and a pleasure to have. I look forward to years of service from my knife.

Big knives with hollow grind is a BIGGGG misunderstanding of how the physics of knife works or ... it is done on purpose so the client comes back for a new purchase before the "life guarantee" expiries ... Make the Buck 124 Frontiersman with flat grind, add 0.5 cm of blade width and I will buy 3 of them at once.

what a disappointment!!! , I was hoping for a direct evolution of the 184 instead you have only made a different sub / combat knife and that's it! I don't know if the original 184 is still under patent, but I plan to reforge it myself by perfecting, according to my project, some details of the 1st 184, but of the second series! to make it more perfect for real survival in the field, both bushcraft and outdoor, etc. I really don't like this 2.0! it is specifically tactical so not of interest to me! now I don't want to forge it to commercialize it! Of course, but only for me for personal use, if you are interested in knowing my project too, it would be great to establish a collaboration to have it reproduced by bucknives!
