Genuinely only stopped myself from killing Sans because i want to try doing a pacifist route To be honest though, i REALLY wanted to kill him, couldn't even be brought to feel bad because of his backstory

I love this interpretation of sans. He tells you the most bonkers backstory ever, admits its horseradish made by his writing team, and then sprinkles in that bit of mystery that some of it MIGHT be true, just to fuck with you further. He knows, no matter what, that you'll be thinking about that story forever, even if it's just how weird and stupid it was. (honestly, it's a pretty fire sales pitch for the comic now that I think about it)

Every ending here apart from the pacifist one works. I get it was added to stop softlocks, but it ruins this sans’ character. He’s supposed to be the one irredeemable enemy, and making it so he didn’t even actually kill Suzy just feels like a cop-out and lessens the impact of the other endings. I do like the ending where Susie fucking slashes sans into a million pieces, would’ve hit harder if the orphan killing wasn’t proven false.

Seeing as I hadn't realized Flowey was here, seeing him pop up and watch Chara plunge into the Springs below was REALLY terrifying

Personally I don't mind this update. Sure some people may not like it but I personally was a little unsatisfied with simply sparing him by using Sleep Mist. I know it's possible that this Sans is beyond redemption but it wouldn't hurt to at least try. Having the option to finally talk to Sans was pretty nice too.

Kris now has the title of Deceitful. Suzie now has the title of Devious. I wonder what Noelle's is gonna be. Probably Desensitized to keep with the theme as Noelle's story in the Genocide route seems to be heading down the path of a jaded broken woman so it only makes sense, she'd become more desensitized as the story and killings progressed till eventually, she starts seeing it as normal as breathing while they're going through timelines.

i prefer if he was still a cruel bastard, the ending with sans being good is a forced and very poorly paced character change. The only time i like his quick change is when he gets ice shocked.
