This is the *GENOCIDE / Ruthless UNDERSWAP SANS (CROSSBONES) FIGHT*
Really cool fight with a mechanic that reminds you of games like cuphead and celeste!
this took me like 10ish tries so is a fairly hard fight (at least in the release build i was playing i think they nerfed him) but anyways it's a really fun hard fight! hoping to see the full game soon....

... is an unofficial fan-made reimagining of Toby Fox's UNDERTALE, made by Team Switched (TS).
The official DEMO features the first two areas, Ruined Home and Starlight Isles!
It's available for free on Windows, Linux, and Android.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Explore a new world inspired by the works of Toby Fox.
- A reimagined Underground boasting new area themes, level progression, and expansive locations rich with original content.
Expanded gameplay mechanics, new features, and quality of life improvements both original and DELTARUNE-inspired.
- A JOURNAL for keeping track of monsters encountered, side quests, and collectible items.
- Brand new puzzle and mobility mechanics.
- DELTARUNE-inspired overworld dodging and inventory quality of life additions.
- Extra colored sprites options and trophies.
Battle monsters new and old, with re-imagined versions of returning enemies and bullet patterns.
- Enemies can be nonviolently pacified through interaction, though you can still destroy your foes. The world will react depending on your choices.
- Choose your own path, with emphasis on player choice and replayability.
Encounter a cast of returning characters in new roles, alongside completely original characters.
- Heavy emphasis on attention to detail to provide fans of UNDERTALE with something familiar, yet brand new.

Note that sans flees the fight instead of dying here, this means the corridor confrontation is gonna be rejuvenation styled because both of the skelebros will know what you’ve done and be willing to fight

I guess some of them WOULD DIE. Maybe Paparys will die by defending ALPHYS/Undyne, or maybe at one of those times when sans will be trolling us(like random cave or nexus encounter), we will get mad, them imidietly kill him. Don't forget about TS!Paparys fight by FDY(it popularized au and creator of fight). I think they will pay a respect to it and make the same fight(but easier ofc) or just a slight reference to it(like Hotel dialogue or smth).

true, they might take the PS!outertale approach with the genocide boss fights, but i doubt that sans and papyrus are dumb enough to just let themselves get killed given that atleast sans knows how to flee from combat@@ФедорХаритонов-у5м

Alphys still evacuates people and leaves the protection of the citizens, batman-like, to Crossbones. Papyrus fights you because you killed Sans.

Makes you truly wonder if you should continue the slaughter, abandon genocide and see what happens up ahead or simply reset back to the beginning and do a pacifist route to atone for what you've done.

Exactly. Crossbones being listed as dead in the journal is symbolic. Sans and papyrus can no longer live in happiness, sans has to take things seriously now. Crossbones might as well be dead.

You get 25 EXP from that so you did kill something... the terminte from pastifist

​@@outofthisworldgaming9539 he actually sets your exp to what you need to level up -1, so if you are at 1027 exp and need 1200 exp to level up, you'll get 172 exp, or if you're at 893 and need 1000 exp to lvl up, you'll get 106.

I’m just gonna say it, this fight fucking sucks, especially on controller, idk if its the game or my controller (which it isn’t because it works perfectly for UTY and Deltatraveler) but the gamepad is so janky, it’ll move me into bones when I’m not touching it, and the fight feels more like an end game boss fight than literally the SECOND BOSS FIGHT Overall, didn’t have fun with this, but the Megalovania bit had me laughing i guess
