Note that sans flees the fight instead of dying here, this means the corridor confrontation is gonna be rejuvenation styled because both of the skelebros will know what you’ve done and be willing to fight

I guess some of them WOULD DIE. Maybe Paparys will die by defending ALPHYS/Undyne, or maybe at one of those times when sans will be trolling us(like random cave or nexus encounter), we will get mad, them imidietly kill him. Don't forget about TS!Paparys fight by FDY(it popularized au and creator of fight). I think they will pay a respect to it and make the same fight(but easier ofc) or just a slight reference to it(like Hotel dialogue or smth).

Exactly. Crossbones being listed as dead in the journal is symbolic. Sans and papyrus can no longer live in happiness, sans has to take things seriously now. Crossbones might as well be dead.

I love this interpretation of sans. He tells you the most bonkers backstory ever, admits its horseradish made by his writing team, and then sprinkles in that bit of mystery that some of it MIGHT be true, just to fuck with you further. He knows, no matter what, that you'll be thinking about that story forever, even if it's just how weird and stupid it was. (honestly, it's a pretty fire sales pitch for the comic now that I think about it)

The exp level up i assume is a symbolic representation of Crossbones death. Whilst Papyrus and everyone else thinks Crossbones/Sans died, that’s only half true.

I’m just gonna say it, this fight fucking sucks, especially on controller, idk if its the game or my controller (which it isn’t because it works perfectly for UTY and Deltatraveler) but the gamepad is so janky, it’ll move me into bones when I’m not touching it, and the fight feels more like an end game boss fight than literally the SECOND BOSS FIGHT Overall, didn’t have fun with this, but the Megalovania bit had me laughing i guess
