Just found you surfing….❤ YOU may be the first reaction I’ve seen that actually GETS IT! ❤ Just let it flow! It’s a Mona Lisa of sound and music. Most reactions LOVE it but they over analyze it! It’s not at all about lyrics in this one. Who do you think Queen learned from? (Not all but you can hear it ) 😂 Yes inspired so many bands that came after. Thanks for really listening 🙏

This is the first time I have caught one of your reactions, but I am always touched to hear people care about what mattered, Rory was a virtuoso guitar player and didn't give a darn about being a star or a rock icon. I stumbled upon Rory in 1969 or 70 when he was in Taste. The world of Pop music thought they had stumbled upon a budding Cream at that time. The Isle of Weight was not a good memory for Rory, but it shows becoming a very wealthy man, was not as important to him as just being a wonderful guitar picker. I became enchanted with Rory back then to the point that within a couple of years I owned percentages of 3 record stores. Since that time I have continues to listen to Rory with some frequency. I am 76 now and still I listen to Rory in the car or at home. It Amazes me that all this old music is now entertaining people in a whole new way. Rory Gallagher, Miles Davis, Eartha Kitt and Gato Barbieri are but a few of the musicians I have listened to for more than a half century, and still do. I am so glad to have another reviewer that I can relate to that I can watch on my computer these days. We live in a world that is teetering on madness, the music I love and the memories is all that keeps me grounded these days. You seem to love your work. Rory did not give a darn about making mountains of money, he just wanted to play his guitar and entertain people. That story is what I enjoy.

I heard Barry Gibb was in the audience that night, and he said afterwards he thought Bruce's adaptation of the BBE Gees classic song was 'incredible' and he absolutely loved it. If anyone wanted a proper validation of Bruce's incredible cover of Barry's song, there it is right there. 🙋‍♂

Donna, in fact, had more than a "few" hits in the 70's. She was the first female singer to have eight songs in a row make it to the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. That happened between 1978 and 1980. She was the only disco artist from the 70's to have success into the 1980's. She continued to have #1 hits on the Dance chart up until 2013. As a writer, she even had a #1 song on the country chart when Dolly Parton released Starting Over Again. Her last top 10 song on the Hot 100 was This Time I Know It's For Real in 1989.

Pretty funny... I was in HS when this came out in 72.... The area where you are sitting, the lighting, the colors, the ambience reminds me so much of back then when listening to yes. One or two illegal substances was also a must for these yes pieces, especially the longer tracks.
