having gone there as a kid about 30yrs ago and also a month ago with my kids, i can say that it's still a great kids interactive museum. they probably have transported the majority of the exhibits or recreated in some way. it will still never be the same, but it's a very fun place to visit

In 1979 I was a student at Fort Hayes, and I was randomly selected to help with a project being created by OSU students. I had to play the part of a purse snatcher and was filmed in a classroom at Fort Hayes set up to look like a department store. The film was about observation and paying attention to your surroundings. That video was part of an exhibit at COSI and it was in place for more than 25 years. I'm sure it's long gone by now, but I always hoped that someone might have inadvertantly shot video at COSI and it would end up here. Thanks for the memory.

I have fond memories of the original COSI. It was roughly a 3 hour drive from where I lived, but drove there several times every summer starting when I was 16.

What a nostalgia hit! Thanks for sharing. The Street of Yesteryear, the Time Tunnel, all the American Presidents, Focault's Pendulum with the little pegs getting knocked over... So great.

Core memory unlocked!!! Been 25 years since I’ve stepped inside that amazing place. The only thing close to that place is The “Squidward’s Tiki Land” episode on SpongeBob. Lol! Loved this place so much! The dry ice drink was so flippin awesome. Just showed my daughter this video and turned into a little kid again while watching.

I never liked the new building as much as the old one. The Streets of Yesteryear was my favorite attraction. I was so sad they didn’t redo that. The talking car, the movie theater and all the little shops. I loved the faux cobblestone streets. Great video!
