Anyone here in 2024? Had a day like this today. May your days be happier and filled with abundance, ❤ I love Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan duo. Thank you for this movie. It was one of my favorites growing up.

A lot of Life questions can be answered through this movie. As crazy as it sounds, this film is quite philosophical in it's approach to dealing with hardships of the body and the mind.

In retrospect I feel that this movie is about feeling trapped and feeling sick inside. This movie explores what would happen if you stepped outside the box and took the unfamiliar and uncertain path.

The scene pretty much sums up the life of the Boomer Generation. Cold, miserable, and full of regret. Enjoy the Decline 😎🍿.

My wife and I, who were just wooing one another and flat broke back then, rented this movie from Blockbuster for a cheap date night. To this day, when I ask her how I look, she says, "Like a prince... in a fairy tale," when I really don't. I didn't realize the first time I watched it that Meg Ryan plays most of the female roles.Wish this song existed in some other format. They should have put in on the soundtrack but didn't.

I have this dvd. Reminds me of life. Seeing that flower would bring me hope. I think that flower, for me, represents the Light and Hope (in a dark, dreary, sad, unfair world), which is God and Jesus and His Holy Spirit. He's my Hope when life burdens me. I hope others will know Him as their Hope and Savior, Jesus the Messiah: King of kings, and Lord of lords. He's my Rose.

The beginning of this movie, when he's working in that utterly pointless sh*t-hole of an office is so relatable to me. I've never actually worked in an office, but so many of my jobs have felt just that alienating and soulless. I'm wishing that everyone can find the work that matters to them!
@hxhdfjifzirstc8947 ай бұрын
People shouldn't be afraid to switch jobs, and try to do whatever you're good at... I've found the most important thing is _who_ my coworkers are. Basically nothing else matters, to me. If you're going to spend ~40 hours a week with people, they can either suck your blood, or treat you with respect and kindness. Even if it's convenient to stay, sometimes it's best to go.

Such a wonderful movie. I remember watching it as a kid and remembering the horrible working conditions and that’s what stuck out. Then I watched it again like 20yrs later with my wife and omg it is such a wonderful well written movie with such a great vision and storyline. Robert Zemeckis really knew what he was doing.
