This Kaw Prahok looks delicious. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I like catfish, but I agree it can have a really fishy taste if you don't clean it very well. If I get fresh catfish, I usually take a knife 🔪 and scrape all the slime off the skin and rinse and repeat several times. I'll have to give this recipe a try when I get the chance. Looks very similar to Somlar Machu Yeun.👍🏼

What a cute morter & pestle set you got there! I'm not a huge fan of "prahok" but I don't hate it. It adds a bit of a kick and umami to the sauce. I always turned away from the sauce cuz I didn't know what was in it. Eventually tried it and it wasn't too bad. Never made it, but will totally try your recipe next time I'm craving steak. 😊👍

Never use msg & fermented fish paste- bad for your health. There are alternative recipe. Other than that, the presentation is yummy

Beautiful presentation. I know it cooks differently if you place the stuffing in the bird while baking, but the absorption of the bird's juices really make the stuffed rice delicious.
