Sorry, but BGMM crisp and impeccable sound. You can hear every instrument contributing. The Golden Delights in the stands are untouchable. Look I love Southern but they just want to play the loudest and all I hear are the trumpets screaming and I heard some off notes. Like I said, I roll with them but they have to play in tune and not just loud.

Southern sounded just a little bit better than UAPB . I mean UAPB had a lot of mistakes but Southern sound , song selections and the tubas coming in early on a few songs was a mess

Fmu is so freaking boring omg. They play these old @zz showtunes.or whatever that crap is in their drill. The dance routine is lifeless. I hope another band goes this year

@Kc20243 Glad u edited that cause I was confused lol but but with bands seem pretty cool and amazing if they made it this far. That says a lot about them no matter their cons. VSU has some things they need to change and so does FMU. FMU sounds amazing but tend to be boring to watch sometimes

I’m an SU alum and I’m a JUKE fan till I die! But I’m always going to keep it a buck on how SU sounds to me. They have been inconsistent in their performances for the last two years. But they did a great job against UAPB in the zero and 5th. UAPB was garbage in the zero but redeemed themselves in the 5th. And that’s how you scored. I may not always agree with you but I like your platform because you approach each battle without bias and just keep the review about the actual facts. And you clearly know your shit!! Keep doing you- it’s good for the culture!

This platform lost all credibility last year when they didn't pick JSU number one. Stevie, Ray, Blind Mellie Jellie and my Aunti Bert could see that JACKSON STATE was the best band in the country in 2023 and they didn't win. That's all me and several others needed to see. TRASH!!!!!!!

I hate that we judge a band by how loud they play. Instead of musicality and balance. These arrangements are so basic to me to adjust for songs being played loud. They have some beautiful moments in some arrangements. Overall it's the same thing year in and year out. With the exception of a few bands most havent evolved at all. Boring AF!
