Yeah homecoming it’s new. Turkey Day classic people be everywhere.

55:36 The parade for ASU's "new" homecoming date is a new thing. In the past when they tried moving homecoming from TDC, they never had a parade, other than the one for TDC.
@ZebraLensКүн бұрын
When you asked, "where the people at? It made me think lol, the ASU/Tuskegee family only recognize Turkey Day Classic (TDC) as ASU's true homecoming, so the people will show up for the Turkey Day Parade. Unfortunately, ASU admins are trying to force a bigger turn out by "moving" homecoming to another home game date (other than TDC) and the home game is against FAMU (rattler fans tend to travel well), so thats why they tried to push homecoming for this day instead of the already packed Turkey Day.

I enjoy stand battles just as much as field shows. Bands essentially get dinged for not having flags. I don't enjoy seeing flag personnel act like dancers with body rolls and pelvic movement. Just twirl the flags please. A stand battle displays "pen game" on the different arrangements and how well the students play + the band's ability to move the audience.

Yall do realize that MVSU is the youngest school in the SWAC and the program has just come back so stop the negative comments. They could have been your children out there. Give them time to grow the program

One thing I dislike about SWAC schools field shows is that they never play towards the crowd during the drill. It sounds muffled and takes away from the show.

The Delta is the part of MS that MVSU is in. It's about halfway between Jackson and Memphis. There are a few towns considered to be in the MS Delta

Decent shows. I think Alcorn tubas could play some of their notes a little shorter. They came close to get off tempo a couple of times. Overall, they could use more energy. I don't know if the tempo needed to be up a little or what. Golden Girls give me old J-sette routine vibes. All decent shows. It would be great if more bands sounded in the stands the way they do on the field. From what I can tell watching the clips, the BOOM and the Ocean did on several songs. I definitely agree on the side shots. I had seeing games on TV filmed by other groups that are 80% close-ups

This was very nice. The Legion was the slight better of the two overall however NCCU was on fire. I dare to say if NCCU was same size as the Legion they would out volume them but Norfolk would still sound better as we have seen with FamU, Southern and so on. The balance and cleanliness of their sound and arrangements is just top notch. Like is said however, NCCU was on fire. Great match up and fair judging. @StevenHoliday great views as always. Both bands sounded solid. The only difference for me is the tuba play. There were more opportunities for NCCU tubas to play out while the band danced so they would stand out (IMO). Sort of play to your strengths, so I get it. As for the person that said they felt NSU could do more, they "could" but they will always play within their wall of sound, never over play individually nor by sections, and within the balance pyramid, which makes them the Legion. They let the musicality speak for them. Never conforming but setting the standard. Like I always say, don't like my opinion... tough. Go argue with yo momma. LOL
