I have an MX8 that's about 4 years old and I tried your method for removing the cover assembly. When I got the "innards" removed, the assembly with the cover wouldn't budge, despite my best efforts. I checked out some other videos and found that you can remove the cover simply by raising it slightly and pulling it toward you with one hand while holding the unit steady with the other hand. Appreciate your posting your vid, but some of your other viewers might find the solution I mentioned to be a bit less frustrating.

Thanks for sharing this with us. I have the ladybug and there's less than 10 hrs on it. It stopped working. Does this video hold true for my model as well? If so I may consider buying a repair kit for it. Until then I'll keep on vacuuming by hand. Actually that's a lot faster.

My Pentair pump's lid's outer part (with beige part the handles) turns, but the middle transparent part of the lid doesn't turn. I can't lift the lid after I turn the outer part using the handles. Am I doing something wrong?

I replaced the Feet on my Penguin and now it runs super fast on the pool floor. What I did notice is that it tends to curl the hose up into 3 coils. I pulled it up and noticed that the Suction is not as strong as it used to be ?? If I pull the hose off, it's super, but when I place it back, its really light. Is the Turbine supposed to go in one way only ??

Thanks for these instructions... I got a new router a few days ago and followed your instructions to connect my iqualink 2.0 to my new router. All seems to be ok, except the light on my app is still red and the web app won't advance past the "waiting for connection" screen. What else could be wrong?
