You're missing out on the best part of a Taemin his unmatched dancing skills. His Music Videos are creative, beautiful, artistic, and top cllass, but you can not really react to TAEMIN without watching the " dance practice videos." You see moments of choreography in the MVs, but the dance practices are full on complete choreography, and no one is better at performing and interpreting choreography than TAEMIN. If you would like to hear Taemin rap, may I suggest, "The Rizzness". Don't get nervous; if you read the lyrics, you will see that Taemin is excoriating the social media industry and how people hide behind masks to bring others down, shame them, and so on. It's quite brilliant. Another one that will blow your mind is "Advice". It's a lyrical rap, and he sings in an obscenely high key for a guy. The dance practice for "Advice" is NUTS! If you want to see the fastest choreo in Kpop to this day, make sure to react to that after watching the MV. Enjoy!

taemin to me is the best dancer in the industry, i’m seeing him in concert for the first time in 2 months!! i’m excited for more taemin reactions, i personally love Criminal, Advice, Idea (..i’ll stop here or you’ll have full discography) he’s my top male soloist for sureeeee!!! I also highly recommend “Dreamcatcher - Black or White” if you wanna see some MJ tribute (like,, first couple seconds and anyone in their right mind would think Michael Jackson!!), but i’m also recommending them since you like vocalists with great vocals, falsettos, control, range, they have it all. And their most recent song showcased it perfectly, it’s called “Justice”. The MV is great but the “it’s live” version is best to really hear the vocals (they go crazy). "Sexy in the Air" and "Horizon" are Taemin's double lead tracks on his 5th mini Korean solo album, which was released in 2024, named Eternal, and first release under his new company Big Planet Made (as a soloist). He has been a member of SHINee (with SM Entertainment) since 2008 and a solo artist since 2014. He is THE IDOL that EVERYONE looks up to and is considered a legend even among legends. You should check out his "Horizon" MV next. For "Sexy in the Air" what you are hearing is considered Boom Bap music style. And yes, the song is called "Sexy (sex) is in the Air," so what you are hearing is exactly what you think it is. The title and lyrics say "sexy" because it needs to be censored in order to be shown on network TV in Korea and for music shows, etc. I also think he could be saying "Sexy's in the air." (Taemin is 31 years old, so he's not a little kid anymore. :D) If you want to see how this MV was filmed, check out Taemin's behind the scenes footage of him on set of the MV. Taemin is the main dancer and a main vocalist of the 5 member Kpop group SHINee. However, because he's a member of SHINee, this means he can do it all. SHINee are known for the fact that there are no longer any fixed roles in their group, the main vocalists can rap and the rappers can fill in as main vocalists at any moment. Although, what they are really recognized for is as one of the best vocal groups to ever exist. All of the SHINee members are top tier singers and dancers. Taemin is considered one of the greatest dancers of all time. He has literally been voted one of the top two BEST dancers in all of Kpop by his peers and industry experts. (Kai from EXO -- who happens to be Taemin's best friend since trainee days, and a fellow member of the SM supergroup, SuperM -- is the other top dancer.) That is why Taemin has been nicknamed the Korean Michael Jackson. His aura and stage presence is unmatched, similar to MJ's legendary status. The ONLY thing the members of SHINee are not good at is lip syncing, so Taemin, and all the members of SHINee, have specifically trained since their debut, to build stamina and endurance, in order to be able to sing live for 3+ hours straight in concert, all while performing these intense choreographies and still sound flawless. When you watch a live performance, you may be shocked because Taemin and SHINee sound so perfect live even though they are dancing so intensely, but that is why they are so highly respected by everyone. Therefore, in Taemin's live performance you will discover that he sounds even better than in the recorded version, all while dancing full out. What makes SHINee so great is that even if they are singing acapella while performing this high energy choreography, they sound just as amazing. That's why, even as rookies, senior artists would stop what they were doing to watch SHINee's rehearsals on music programs because SHINee's vocal talent is that impressive. When SHINee debuted, they were the first group to demonstrate how it was possible to sing live while performing complex choreography and still maintain stable vocals. It's the standard that all other groups strive to reach, and SHINee are the vocalists that all other artists try to emulate. Taemin has released at least one song or album -- most of the time way more than just one -- as part of SHINee, as a member of a project group, as a solo artist or as a member of the Kpop supergroup SuperM every year since SHINee's debut. (Except for 2022 because he was on hiatus while he carried out his public service duties as part of his military requirements.) Therefore, including his full-length albums, mini albums, and singles, etc., as well as his Japanese albums, Taemin has more than a dozen solo albums. Not to mention the 2 albums he has as a member of SuperM. And on top of all that, SHINee currently has 14 full-length Korean and Japanese albums, just as many repackaged albums, numerous mini albums, etc. Plus, he has held many solo concert tours -- he is currently on his first solo world tour. Before this his tours were Asian/Japanese tours -- as well as a world tour as a member of SuperM, and SHINee has held more than 100 concerts within 6 world tours so far. You have a TON to catch up on. :D Now, if you haven't already, you need to check out Taemin's Killing Voice performance. I have a feeling when you watch his Killing Voice you will find that hearing him sing his songs live, that you will be even more impressed. There is a reason why Taemin is like none other.

Nice another Taemin track! If you want to see where he got the “Korean MJ” title, I recommend his early discography. Danger is his most MJ homage; he has incorporated the moves in his own style. (You should also check out Move lol) Yeah they do love a bridge/change up (NCT is also very fond of a change up) To see more of the choreography, there are dance practices (which is a filmed final version of the choreo for live stages; can be a fixed camera or moving) and/or performance videos you can watch without all the editing in the music videos. This track was produced by DemJointz who is quite prolific in the Kpop industry.

When it comes to the production, its done by a black producer called Dem Joints. He produces for damn near every group under SM, especially EXO, Aespa, and NCT as a whole, and a lot of solos for Taemin. Even this one, he understands SM's way of making unique experimental music and, as a producer, has produced bangers from every big agency. He has worked with a lot of big artists outside of K-pop, like kendrick, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and many more

Wow, first of all I really enjoy how you guys react/review KPOP artists. I'm so glad you've discovered King Taemin. You must see his earlier work when he first went solo, Advice, Criminal...Rizzness and GOAT are Taemin's swag songs. If you want to listen to a ballad and hear him blow, (his voice can make you cry) "Snow Flower". You'll come to appreciate why people call him Korea's Michael Jackson when you analyze how he dances and moves and feels his movements. You'll come to find out why idols idolize him. You will be hard to find someone that can compare. I'm a judge in the US of competition dance so I look at KPOP with performance execution eyes. My favorite group is NCT127. The NCT units (WayV, NCT Wish, NCT Dream, NCT U have a commonality of precision dance execution. Enjoy :)
