Too late to tell you this, but for others watching: West System instruction repairs and others say the first layer of the patch applied should be the largest one, so the longest fibers go over the entire beveled surface and are protected by the upper layers from being severed when grinding the repair fair.

Good work and great knowledge by your friend. One little quibble: power mixing the poxy might entrain a lot of bubbles, hopefully you are letting it rest after mixing for a few minutes. Also seeing a lot of bare skin probably getting epoxy on it, if your immune system gets pissed off you can develop a severe allergy.

This is basically my Trade, restoring classic cars/hot rods many corvettes, 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen’s. All I have to say is great job and the amount of work you guys did in just those 3 days is incomprehensible to the average person!

Great progress, Hows Daniella doing?

Check the body positioning while Rolf is spraying the color. Master painter technique to ensure each stroke and the spray distance remains consistent. ON a small surface not so difficult. On a large surface much harder to maintain focus and physical position. It's exhausting.
