I really enjoyed this segment. I personally am interested in insurance sales but what had me a bit worried was the idea of only closing without actually caring about the client and just caring about my pockets. I genuinely want to help people because I want them to feel great about the potential decision they are going to make.

Oh man I'm so guilty of this but I will say I have had different experiences on average with different lead sources and different sources have different costs so I'm always torn between the options

Im a life insurance sales manager. Im over 6 agents. All of them are new between 1 & 5 months. We sell to low income households. Most of our customers don't work & are surviving on social security checks. It has alot to do with the location. We have routes so our agents are only allowed to sell within a geographical area. So it limits to who we can sell to. Since agents aren't supposed to leave out of their area. We are a home based company. It makes selling a little harder. I could use some ideas on ways to get more sales.

How revolutionary. Someone brings up something and you ask them to elaborate. I'm blown away. This has changed my life. He's such a special person for being able to ask someone to elaborate. I'm still in shock. I am not sure how I will recover from this. The news has hurt me deeply and awakened something inside me.

3 weeks in the business here. I am selling IULs, how am I suppose to sell if people don’t pickup the phones??? In the meantime should I continue to gamble buying leads? All comments are much appreciated. I get leads across all 50 states, no door knocking here.

This is my favorite video of yours that I’ve seen… “you don’t have to ask these questions. Just go buy more leads 😂” Just filmed a video on clarifying questions but you guys did a good job on covering all the good ones!

Yes I ask myself these questions. I fear starting but I don't want to quit. It's really because of this podcast that I'm still pushing forward. I was watching you guys when I realized I was working at the wrong company somewhere they weren't really helping the new agents to grow. I have moved on to work with another company that I'm happy with. The failure mentality from the other company I'm battling with myself everyday. I don't have the best support system on the homefront so I went search and found you guys . Thank you so much. This really is helping to come up from the ashes. I do want to be a difference maker ! Please keep these coming. 😊❤

What episode talks about working leads properly, double dialing 2/3 times a day for a weeek? When do you drip? And is your rule 21 days work it full? CRM templates? Effective dripping?

Great Video, really enjoyed listening and your concept of “getting the client to engage in their reality “ is very powerful. Anything planned in the Louisiana area? I’ve been licensed since 1989 and specializing in IUL’s and Whole Life. As of last November, 2023, our English speaking market base has taken a downturn. The interest is there but investment capital seems to have been consumed by higher costs of living. I made the switch back over to Final Expense Insurance recently and this side has really changed. Telesales is a hell of a lot tougher than I expected. Your presentation is very close to how I approach my lead base BUT KEEPING THEM ON THE PHONE IS A CHALLENGE. Licensed in 23 states and the first set of leads were in Oregon, Utah, Arizona, Rhode Island and Ohio. I had about 100 leads and getting through the initial contact was very difficult. At least 35 to 40% hung up almost immediately after hearing “out of pocket funeral expenses “. All of these individuals requested and filled out the information paperwork. The phone script is very simple and inviting. My initial thought was that maybe they’re bombarded with phone calls from telemarketers. Is anyone else running into this same issue? In the past it was never easy or a lay down but I don’t remember people being this reluctant to engage in a conversation.

What are you talking about? 100% contract? Some of us are brand new and that means nothing to us.
@LifeInsuranceAcademy19 күн бұрын
If you are with an independent agent IMO with $3-$5K a week in production then you should be at that 100% comp contract relatively quickly.

My life changed too when I started doing this and putting money in stocks. The first few years it as really great, but this year I haven't felt like my portfolio is doing well. I have lost more than $40,000 from my portfolio the past four months, and it's now very worrisome.

Started listening to you guys recently as getting into life insurance sales myself but with your videos the one piece of advice I would give is for the love of god get to the point early on. It took over 7 minutes to tell us what the first question was. It's so long-winded that I was about 15 seconds from clicking off
