Would you all say you really need the field experience to help you get better with presentations and prescriptions and carrier applications. I understand you can role play at home with family or in the mirror but there is no better teacher than real life experience right? Especially with building confidence and overcoming fears and objections. I appreciate your podcast! I’m a new agent by the way. Been in the field part time for 5 months and full time for 2 months.

How has the business been going for you so far? I'm new myself and currently working a full-time 21 rotation schedule and insurance part-time. It's been a struggle to get the training in as far as field experience goes.

@@alonzoortega2472 business is as expected. The only part that really sucks is chargebacks! You have to get through the no’s to get to the yes. It’s an entire new field for me so getting comfortable with being uncomfortable is something i just have to continue to work on. I’m a repetitive person so the more I do something the better I get and the more confidence I gain. It sucks having leads and people say they didn’t fill it out and don’t let you in the house but it’s all apart of the game. It’s a simple business but it’s not easy by FAR!!! Which is why everyone doesn’t do it because it’s not easy! If it was easy everyone would do it! I would recommend you keep working full time until you feel you can do this business full time and do the W-2 part time. But part time needs to be overnight or early morning because you need time in the field to door knock or dial if you do telesales.
