Vietnamese have been racist against indigenous peoples in Southern Vietnam like the Cham and the Montagnards whose skin complexions are dark and hair is curly for one thousand years. It all cultuminated in the Nam Tien, or the Cham Genocide and Vietnamese colonization of Champa

Hi sis was there ample places to exchange money in Gambia?
@livgoesexploringАй бұрын
Hey there were quite a few but most you needed cash to exchange. I could only exchange using my card in my hotel x
@cwilliams9400Ай бұрын
@ brilliant thank you. I’m staying at the same hotel, so good to know they have a bureau there.
@livgoesexploringАй бұрын
Oh nice! That hotel was amazing. Actually thinking back I think it only had cash exchange there and I had to visit a hotel round the corner to exchange by card. There’s a few other exchange spots in the area. The Senegambia strip which is a 5 min drive away has quite a few.

is it safe for girls to travel alone?
@livgoesexploringАй бұрын
Hey I didn’t encounter any problems but I only used registered taxis and visited busy public spaces alone. However everyone I did meet including taxi drivers warned me that it can get very dangerous out there and to not wear jewellery etc

Vietnam LACKS a History with Africa and blacks that are outside of Africa. It's not them being rude or racist its honstly just a lack of history and curiousity.. Vietnam's Racism is saved for the Chinese and Cambodians..they do not care about black or white people at that level..this is a fact
@livgoesexploring3 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t say there is no racism towards black people however there are definitely a lot of curious people. A lot of people are just interested in talking to you which I don’t mind.
