I must say the food in Trinidad was the best! I still think about it now haha. I love doubles and shark&bake. So many nice places to visit in Trinidad too, I was just warned not to have my camera out all the time. I’d love to visit St Thomas but not anytime soon. I hear it’s very expensive, I’ll have to save 😅

How did you get around the island?

I used the app TT ride share, it’s like Trinidad’s version of Uber. I will say a lot less reliable in remote areas and I did experience long wait times sometimes as well as drivers cancelling.

I did visit some more places but everyone I met in Trini told me I’ll get robbed if I’m filming 🤣 I want to come back again and see some more things though. Such a beautiful place and great food. I’ll have to come check out that side too

The white square sweet is called Barfi (Bah Fee), it is made from powdered milk and has ginger or cardamon in it. Fudge is usually a caramel brown in colour.

Hey I didn’t encounter any problems but I only used registered taxis and visited busy public spaces alone. However everyone I did meet including taxi drivers warned me that it can get very dangerous out there and to not wear jewellery etc
