STOP SPECULATING in her calling him a loser. YOU the public do not know anything of their relationship. It is a waste of energy. What IS public knowledge is that he was a cheater. That alone causes emotional damage. Only SHE knows why she called him that and ONLY she knows who he really was. No amount of speculation will ever change that. Not even a glimpse into someone elses life will give you an answer. To state why she said it as if you know is just absurd.

Lucy was so much funnier with Desi. They complemented each other so well. I think she lost something she never could get back after the breakup, comedically. Also, years of smoking didn’t help. Her voice lowered an octave at least which really took something away from her zany quality. Still loved her all the way, though! Forever Lucy.

No actress ever in the history of actors could have played Aunt Bea as well as Francis did - she was perfectly cast - she was brilliant playing that part - everyone loves Aunt Bea - everyone wishes they had an Aunt Bea in their lives - no one who watches that show ever knew Francis was unhappy playing the part - now that's ACTING folks

Don Knots and Art Carney were the two best supporting actors in television history, to me. Barney Fife and Ed Norton were both genuine off the charts creative genius.

I saw elsewhere on KZbin the studio dragged its feet approving a 6th season of the show, and Disney was offering Don Knots a solid long term movie contract, So, he had no choice but to jump at the movie deal, then the studio approved another season of the t.v. show, too late. They lost out on signing Don Knots. The show was never the same after that to me. I only watch the first 5 seasons, with knots in it.

Desi was awesome in so many ways. Relationships are a two-way street. Lucy put up with a lot for 20 years. Desi constantly cheated, drank, and gambled. Lucy came to a breaking point. She did this even though she hated having to run the studio. Who can blame her? What happened, happened but man it would have been great if they reconciled and got back together. The love was always there!

249 total episodes in 8 years. an average of 30 shows a season using only one camera view... and I've watched every one of them over & over. if the world fails to exist as we know it & is one day recreated, I hope those episodes are the 1st thing they know us humans adored.

This was such a hard interview to watch and I am sure give! But I will always love “Lucy and Desi”. I only wished things would have been happier for them and also their two beautiful children who were their greatest triumph and legacy! ♥️
