ANdnow if the Big Army would just order the CV 90 IFV from BAE. But Noooooo! it has already whittled done the contenders to two, and likely the German version will lose out to something that has the same chassis as the BOOKER light tank (yes, it IS a light tank, despite the Army's contorted name) something larger and harder to transport to a war zone.

The v-280 needs to be designed into different models such as micro, small (5 seats), medium (12-24 seats), medium and large (40-60 seats) and heavy (80-150 seats), seaplanes, etc. The speed needs to reach more than 750 kilometers per hour, and the steering, acceleration and deceleration actions must be faster and more flexible (the steering action in the current film is still very slow), and it must be able to function in bad weather. Automatic unmanned driving systems and automatic remote-controlled weapon systems need to be installed to cope with various scenarios. It is also hoped that the SB-1 will be put into production after being equipped with an autopilot system to replace some old and slow helicopter models.

It's basically a T-72 - BUT - it has a new engine with additional 400 Hp (or so) - more - which gives it an excellent "kick". PLUS it has a new f&c-sys and new targeting and observational cameras... though it lacks a bit in firepower, compared to newest russian models. One positive aspect more, are apparently those "ERAWA" bricks, that seem to work quite well. STILL - the biggest improvement (even before we started sending them to Ukraine) was it's speed, cross-country capability and acceleration. Sometimes the best protection is to be faster and more agile than adding tons of steel.

Listen I understand that sig has a bunch of nut riders but if Glock wouldn't have started making their weapons then nobody would be trying to copy it . honestly GLOCK handguns are very reliable and as a contractor I trust them . Everyone has tried to copy GLOCK but have all fallen short .if u look around in the world we live in you will see Glock ,most police departments use Glock, every damn criminal uses Glock and Marines 'raiders' marsoc use Glock . So everyone needs to stop nut riding because we know the cheapest, shittyish sig got the contract. Don't get me wrong sig is a awesome manufacturer but they need to stick to hammer fire

Hope Britain isn’t expecting other countries men to die defending them because they didn’t want to pay for a larger military. Countries need to start depending on themselves for protection so they don’t get overrun before getting more help if needed.

As a founding member of NATO if Britain is attacked by an enemy force, under article 5 of the NATO treaty, if one is attacked then it would be an attack on all, so yes we expect NATO members to come to our aid.

Errrrr isn’t that the reason for an “alliance”? … it’s true, some of the members may need to give some more… however, the UK has always helped its friends worldwide, sometimes to its detriment.

This is the absolutely sensible path to have taken. Sure the US loves its headline stealth projects, almost boasting about how much it costs, but in the highly evolving world of Cold War tactics, electronic warfare is where the battle is being fought, and Saab leads the way with the Gripen series………..a fabulous aircraft! It doesn’t need to be the biggest, fastest or stealthiest…….it just needs to win!

I love how they said that Glock submitted 2 entries in the beginning, a Glock 17 and a Glock 19 (which they didn't). Then they said that they only submitted 1 entry, and they showed a Glock 17 (again, which they also didn't submit) against Sigs 2 gun proposals, also, Idon'tthink that they tested the M18 because they tested the M17. They (Glock) submitted a variation of the Glock 19X, with an ambidextrous manual thumb safety. This whole pistol trial was pretty much a shit show, I feel like they basically made this one sided for Sig because they lost the M9 pistol trials to Beretta by $1 so many years ago. Sig was definitely the better pistol and the Navy Pistol Trials proved that. But Sig also submitted their P250's several years prior to this trial (I wanna say 2005 or somewhere around 2007-2008) and basically the Army decided to shutdown the whole thing but told Sig that they liked their entry, but they'd rather have a striker fired pistol 😉 😉.

A much faster way would be to use a Octocopter type Drone with AI vision to map a minefield to locate mines and then place a small detonating charge on each one. A drone like this could clear a large field in an hour or 2. Goblin looks interesting but its not going to help Ukraine clear thousands of acres of minefields.

Anti tank mines are not the problem. Big, larger explosive. What matters are anti personnel mines, that do not self destruct or have other failures. Worst kind are boobytraps or mines that look like toys or harmless. The result is that there are still minefields from WW1 and WW2 in Africa, and Europe (I can only assume in Asia) that are not cleared.

Also the American Reinhold company won the award and contract for 1.4 billion dollars to build 29 vehicles with an optional 70 to be completed and started production in 2025 to be complete in 2029 so that's 5 years for 1.4 billion which is around $100 million dollars per vehicle just in case any of you stockholders want to know

Dude, our DoD is a such a freaking puzzle. I know it. I close my eyes and see a giant map, and it folds out in upwards structures in many locations. It's like a very complicated 3D graphic design image I created over years. Just in my head, not in VR or just reality. I have a huge white board in my garage with like 200 markers and eraser. I drew it up once, during my periodic insomnia. Tried to make it look 3D, there are ways. Then I started dating my future husband, who was a SEAL. A little bit of competition. He later told me, he fell in love with me after noticing that thing I drew. But knowing and explaining is not quite the same. I was born in Ukraine. And every time I went back to see my childhood friends I tried. And I tried again. Only my bff from elementary school got it. No wonder other kids were mean to us, called us UFO, shared one brain, etc. 😂 At least I learned to fight when I was 6 y/o. Some of my coping skills still scare my hubby. I sit right next to him, I'm listening to every word. Then once again he says: Hey, please blink just once, come back, it's scary. How do I plug you back in? Lol I was just updating my firmware. I am here, my 6'5" love.

dorsey should have made a modular handgun, and they didn't. that's why sig won, sig gave them what they wanted. instead, he just gave them a regular old glock. nothing wrong with a glock, but again, that's not what they asked for. seems like a dorsey messed up by not innovating a new modular glock model.
