Anybody tried selling the red light therapy kind of things? I have 3 different types that are all brand new.

Great ideas! I do sell on Facebook marketplace and offer shipping on most items. You didn’t talk about that. The packaging and labels. They send to you. Butter pays shipping. But there’s an option for seller to pay

10 years ago, I sold a lot when I had my 1st baby (I have 3 kids now). Got gifted so much, had a small apartment, and didn't have an income. I don't like selling anymore, especially anything below $10, because people will tell you they are coming at this time, but not show up, or they will try to bargain for a ridiculous price. Or just press the "is this available?" button and never write back. It wasn't like that 3-10 years ago. I much prefer donating to a local Buy Nothing group and make someone happy. I also find people price stuff too expensive on marketplace. Condition like-new or great condition, they sell it almost the same price than in the store. I have no guarantee, I can't return it, I have to get out of my way to get it... no thanks. I'll buy it in stores.

I’m thinking of selling NIB haircare, skincare and makeup items that I have never used (I have a subscription box addiction…). Should I sell individually if the brands are really good or as lots?

Or you may be blessed to have a bulk foods store nearby where you can refill your own containers. The weight of the empty container written on the bottom allows the cashier to charge only the weight of the contents. Reduced packaging al also means i can place the refilled containers straight on the shelf when i get home. Much easier and very satisfying.

I got a 2nd air fry as a gift that I can't use. I put it on FB Marketplace for significantly less than retail and I've had 3 people ask about it, when I respond to let them know it's still available, they never respond back. This is a new dual zone air fryer that is just sitting on there. I've got all the marketing photo's up there and described the things I love about mine. What else can I do? It's been on FB and ND for over a week. I respond quickly. I've also said I won't negotiate as it's brand new and already discounted.

I have sold several Items on FB. When this happened (little interest)with something I was selling , I removed the listing. Then waited a couple of days and listed again.

The size of the container really matters-I decant flour and sugar and found tupperware that fits the 10 and 5 pound bags I buy (with a little wiggle room if I have a bit left) and that really works. What hasn't worked are containers for things where I end up with some left in the original container because it was too small, or wasting space because the container is too big (but too small for two of them.

Thank you so much for this very timely video! I'm in the process of "gathering" stuff...mostly I want to try selling first. I'm quite certain some of the larger items will sell quite well. Other things I'm not sure of but figure I would donate if they don't sell. I am going to watch some of your playlist videos on decluttering. This is something my husband and I really need to do. I'll soon be 80 and he's 81!!! It's time. I don't really think it would be fair to leave this stuff for our kids to deal with later...perhaps years from now! l really agree with your suggestion of Facebook Marketplace. And your tips make so much sense. Again...thank you!

I decant, but for a totally different reason. I live in apartments and more than once my neighbor's lack of cleanliness caused pest issues, now all my food goes into glass jars or metal canisters.

We buy lots of pantry staples in bulk, and I decant in clear containers. I have these labeled with name of item and the date I decanter. For some flours and rice, these live in my garage fridge, about 4 steps from the kitchen door. My system works nicely. I don't decant everything, just what makes sense. Thanks for keeping it real!

I don’t do it. First I forget what is in the container. Many things look nearly the same. Second I loose the Date of expanse. Or the cooking time. And third I would store so much air. I have only one cupboard for food. You need much more storage for the bins than for the packages. But I agree it looks nice.
