I had this on an LP record on the Melodiya label 50 years ago and don't remember what happened to it, but found a used copy on Amazon in the last 10-15 years and this version still rings in my ears - the trumpet (cornet) is stunningly difficult to imagine playing it for one who has no experience - it is somehow one of the deeper musical experiences I can claim to have.

I went to a concert tonight to see Ensemble Liaison with Eleanor Lyons in Melbourne Australia. They played this, I had never heard it, and it was absolutely brilliant. It's such a beautiful piece of music.

Spent a few days playing piano quartets and discovered this piece for the first time. Its a great find and well up in the pile of piano quartet dots. I love it.

A great talent she is. This was an amazing interpretation that had wonderful surprises that were delicious. Some of them I would not teach my students but boy were they effective. Kudos multiplied.

I love how fluid and lively this is, it's so often played a bit stiff and staid. The dissonance is just right, driving and natural-sounding, not artificial or pinched. My gratitude to the Ensemble for making this so fresh and exciting. Congratulations.

They are on fire! Incredible how they manage not only a solid performance of a breathtaking interpretation, but also so many details in tone and even something like sym-phonic sound effects! I don't think that I have heard anything like this before, even if there are many great recordings of the Op. 100 by many great and able artists.

All the tempi are perfect to my ears. The music has so much breath and life in it. My favorite performance of this piece for sure, and I've heard many.
