hey great list, i have a little question about nautilus, you said he is one of the best primers for melee frames but cordon doesn't apply status effects through manifold because it deals no damage, do you just go a combination of hellstrum + coolant leak (now works with manifold bond) like i do or is there something more to it?

11:00 just mouse over the status section on the stats, it will break it down into status per element. 28.8% to proc blast with primed heated charge, 31.2% chance to proc it with scorch.

Even though I'm almost MR 22 I can see oxylus being very useful to me. I'm usually the one breaking containers when I play with friends (I main xaku/limbo/zephyr so it's no surprise ig) and I'm prob grinding some apothics soon, definitely dumping 20p on him for the catalyst. Also seems to be good to pair with scanning things for simaris so I can get some plants and whatnots while at it, might as well, right? I appreciate your rundown, tyvm

Have you noticed that your pets don't seem to roam around the backroom like they did your orbiter? I've never seen them leave the little pet stand. Also, my 7 year old hates the backroom because the Helminth doesn't eat kavats or get cleaned by infested sweepers.

I really like this style of video - where you're giving the reasoning behind why certain mods are better than others. However, I'm curious about where you're coming from. Since the game has kind of shifted towards tailoring your builds to the kind of content you're doing, wouldn't corrosive or another element be more ideal for the vesper? In other words, do you personally tweak your builds slightly to confront say the scaldra for example who are weak to corrosive or, more specifically, at what point do factions who are resistant to viral, blast, corrosive, etc. --the more popular 'meta' elemental choices-- cost you more damage loss such that the 0.5x resistance outvalues the de-buff or effect being applied by the elemental combo.

The Vesper feels like the secondary you'd use when wanting to be a secret agent; it's not insanely potent in terms of crowd slaughtering, but is except good at wiping out priority targets when accurate enough! (In other words, I would've absolutely messed around with that true-blue secondary pistol!) Also, who's this "Monster Over You" guy? He deserves a pat on the back for lurking in the shadows so often. All the same, happy holidays, everyone!

Pistol acuity is a good but but it's hard to give up multishot. Multishot acts 2-3 additional instances of damage, crit, status, ect... And that's just on an average multi-shot weapon like this where it gets to 3.3, on higher base multi weapons its even better. Acuity will always be 1 instance of damage but to be fair, at a much higher level. But this also means that 1 instance of damage is also only 1 instance of status chance. There are some wierd weapons that can 'double crit' that I think acuity might be really good on. Unfortunetly 'double crit' is another stat that DE hides just like 'multiplicitive gun CO' so it takes alot of searching and research to find what weapons do it. As for elementalist, I really should have done a side by side on elementalist vs merciless gunfight. I do wonder if one would have beat out the other, so that one I'm not sure. That one is my bad for not testing that vs merciless gunfight. Great questions precursorpixels!!! Hope your having a great day!

Okay I haven't seen it yet but here's my take. Acuity, Cannonade, Stack on the critical damage, Stack on anything involving weak points, And maybe some 60/60 for some spice and boom Instant 2 million on headshot. I don't even have a full build but I've got Merciless Gunfight, Semi-Pistol Cannonade, Galvanized Shot (which honestly my be be wasteful because it will usually instakill on a weakpoint shot), Creeping bullseye because there's no negative fire rate due to Cannonade, Pistol Acuity and Primed Target Cracker. I'm not even done yet and need to forma this but it's going to be disgusting how much damage this does. And now, looking at your build, we were surprisingly pretty damn close. Cool!

If you hover over the status chance stat, it tells you the % chance for each proc with your current build. Lol

You don’t need to use ChatGPT or a spreadsheet to calc status chance, just hover over the “status” line in the menu. It’ll break down the exact % to proc each modded element per shot. And it updates in real time so you can swap out scorch for primed heated charge and see the difference :)

I wonder if one of the new magnetic mods would be good over bladed rounds, purely for the overguard popping effect (plus electric proc). My concern is that the status isn’t high enough to proc magnetic consistently enough for it to matter. Maybe swap out Primed Cyro Rounds for the dual stat cryo mod. In doing so, I’d give up the base damage for the extra status procs. I’ll have to give both a try and see how things stack up.

Tenet Diplos update: I commented in a previous video about trying to utilize the Tenet Diplos with Cyte-09 and all applicable weakpoint enhancements that came with the 1999 update and tried my own testing. I discovered that the alt fire for the Diplos is bugged, beyond a certain (very short) range the bullets will make a sharp turn midair just before hitting the enemies' heads and instead hit the body. You need to be borderline point blank range in order for the alt-fire to properly aim for the head, but at that point you're better off using the primary fire or literally any other secondary of value. Anything currently in game that could be used to fix this, e.g. Scourge's alt-fire, is better used for other secondaries. As it turns out, there's a good reason the Diplos isn't widely used.

So the strip club is where we do 'fashion frame' contests, then we have a room that literally looks like there is shit all over the walls and ceilings where we do our 'ugly frame' contests. And yes, we have an arena or whatever its called to do pvp, although its VERY buggy :P

@@Salt_Prime Ohh, nice! It was best boi Atlas for me, originally paired with the Trumna before I upgraded to the Prisma Gorgon (I)! In terms of top favorites in my arsenal, it'd definitely still be Atlas and the Trumna, though! It'll be a long time before I can get back to playing, but I'm definitely getting my hands on the Trumna's and Sepulcrum's primes when I do (if the latter comes out in the next 2~ years - if not, just the Trumna's)!

Another cool thing about this rifle is that the heat does NOT merge with other statuses. So if you're running something like Viral Electric, it'll just give you viral/electric plus heat.

One thing about Reconifex I was made aware by the Darthmufin, is that the heat procs from heat magazine (both those forced and natural) do not work correctly as heat procs should - they do not stack, dont refresh each other, nor have their damage scaling. However the whole issue is fully nullified by giving it source of Heat damage - so Heat mod or Fireball's augment. Because of this issue I would honestly suggesting putting any Heat mod of choice in slot of Bladed Rounds until DE comes back from break and fix it next year.
