Someone on the Reddit mentioned that you can use master summons to teleport the moa into spy terminal rooms through any windows. Apparently you just need line of sight. I know what I’m slotting into my spy build.

Hey Salt, this interaction study is for Other Salt that does the actual testing. I main Inaros but since his rework with the Scarab Shell ability noticed that glaive heavy throws will reduce the shell. I assume it's the knockback from the explosion counting as a status proc but I put Carnis set on and it still reduces it even with the status immunity. I cannot recall if PSF works to stop the Shell reduction causr i dont want to use a slot just to negate that but when using a glaive with Inaros and just blasting everything with the Heavy Throws that's not all the way over there, you'd be restoring your Shell and losing health from your own throws rather than actual enemy attacks. I know there are people who are gonna be like "well don't use glaives" "throw it further" Yada Yada but I think that interaction defeats the purpose of the Ability. It should not be affected by self inflicted effects.

I'm a big fan of Security Override - it's not super incredible or anything but sometimes when you're chaining Exterminates over and over, it's nice to never have to engage with the hacking minigame when you get detected. Good for Spy/Rescue too. Just a small quality of life but it's pretty nice. However I made a Panzer Vulpaphyla (I hadn't played in 5+ years and saw your previous video) and I gotta say Resourceful Retriever might be the single biggest QOL upgrade in the game. I got 4x Crisma Toroids from Profit-Taker with a resource booster on, in two consecutive runs. I guess I will have to use Ciphers from now on! Now I just have to farm Bite... but maybe I will keep my old MOA in my Spy loadout!

Hey, idk if your gonna read this before your next video, or if you've thought of this already, but a really good defense option for all companions is synth deconstruct plus restorative bond. It seems like the bond mod lets you take health orbs without needing them. This lets you up a companion really fast, sometimes instantly. Best case use seems to be shield gate builds that don't use equilibrium.

The MOA wanted blood and jerky, dear Salt! Would highly recommend Blast Shield for consistent AOE stomping - pairs extremely well with Whiplash and Shockwave due to landing in/near groups of enemies! Lots of status priming can be done! (Haven't been able to test out the changed Grenade, but sounds pretty solid now!) Also, just curious, but why'd you not bother using Serration over Shred or Vile? Was the extra DPS that much more noticeable than the extra damage per tick?

Hey guessmyname! I'm going to do a specific sentinel (and moa) weapons vid either before sentinels (so monday) or when I'm done with them. When I do that i'm going to take a deeper dive in testing the verglas. The verglas build I showed is good but I suspect there's some tweaking that needs to be done for max dps. I'm going to assume running unranked viral mods MAY help with dps at the cost of status chance, but ill have to do a side by side comparison and check. I'll also do the video without a riven as most people wont have one. I think WITHOUT a fire rate riven itll probably be best with 2 FR mods (vile accel and primed shred). With a riven like I have though...3 fire rate sources is probably a bit overkill haha, yeah serration might have been better at that point.

@Salt_Prime Looking forward to it, but best of luck with the testing! Given how Gundition Overload requires active aid from the player, I always went with Serration for consistency, and since the critical chance was at 40+ with delay on the Prime, the murder build I put together used Hunter Munitions! Used maxed 60/60 mods for viral and heat, and Fired Up on the Sentinel for more heat boosting! Heat, Viral, and Slash, 20 fire rate by just using vile, and it shredded hallways of Grineer! You can likely bypass the need for the 60 heat by using the Riven, which should result in better speed as well! For a standalone Verglas/Verglas Prime build, going straight Viral and Heat with Serration and Elementalist instead of Crit and HM will likely get better results - unable to test anymore due to my ultra dead laptop, so my information might be a bit outdated, but that'd only be from pre-Koumei. All the same, I hope it helps with the experimenting!

Love your series of companion vids so far but I think this was a missed opportunity to showcase the security override + master summons subsume combo. I really appreciated how you framed the question in sly vulpa video(?) where you asked what is this companion doing for me or why am I bringing this specific pet? If it doesn’t have a good use case then you’re better off switching to another pet. I think it would have been helpful to ask that here. What’s the use case for moa? Sadly none of their precepts are that good or unique or useful enough to set it apart from a better companion. Except one: Security Override. Paired with Master summons subsume and something like a Wukong or Titania you now have the fastest spy mission loadout in the entire game. Don’t know vault layout? No problem; walk up to the window and summon the moa through the window, you don’t even have to wait for it to finish, start flying to next vault. Yes it’s a niche use case but it’s objectively the only thing it does better than any other companion currently. Edit: I do recognize that there was a niche you were attempting here by using Verglas and a grouping precept. The problem is that Nautilus Prime exists who does both and more consistently. I haven't tested thoroughly myself but this line from the wiki might explain the inconsistency you saw: "Ability can only trigger if you also attack with your gun, melee or exalted weapon while it's out of cooldown and enemies are nearby."
