I think the Enel at the end trashed the 2k because he knew that his only hope was for a good trigger and wanted to keep options open if he survived the next round. Still dumb but I mean he was dead either way because you had the event in hand that let you swing again which he couldn't have known about and even if he did a 2k wouldn't have stopped it

TCGPlayer is the gold standard and most market prices are based on TCGPlayer. But you can also get them from local card shops or buy them from other players you trust!

Next time you do a Black Yellow deck, please try using 10c Kuzan, 7c Enel, and Stage Ark Maxum. You get 1 or 2 Kuzans out with the stage and Enel you can rest stage and Enel and wipe board every turn as long as they don't have removal blocking effects. It's hilarious and can make an opponent concede immediately if they don't have a response

Hey Joshua, thanks for the third deck list! I won a locals with that third recipe, but I swapped the Zorojuro that ramps for Franosuke. Originally I put him there for a searchable 2k, but there was a game where I summoned him from Porche, and that Rush came in so clutch! Amazing list, and videos! Keep up the great work! 😁

Truthfully, no Laboon in BB is fine, maybe even just running one to keep it below 100 is still fine. Is it a good card in the deck, yes, but, the more you practice it with the base BB kit, you can still beat Doffy, PLuffy, and BY Luffy, and Shanks. I highly suggest people should build it and upgrade if they can later on. BB on a budget is still a menace.

Instead of laboon, you can try Kuzan. You dont get the draw but you do get the cost reduction on attack

Honestly, now that I've run through some tweaks Blue/Purple Crocodile is a decently cheap build that people really don't know how to play around. The events (except Love Love Mellow) are all cheap and provide a strong defensive package. There's a lot of Baroque Works support and searchers so you can really build around that and keep yourself alive to drop big boss monsters and then swing in for devastating damage. I don't think it'll be topping major tourneys anytime soon, but a locals? Yeah you could do well for cheap.

@@SoundsLikeAtrik 100% agree. I personally love Blue/Purple Croc cause there's decent card draw potential on it. Purple/Yellow Croc also has a strong Baroque Works package and works very well as an Events deck/Don - ability deck without massively sacrificing your curve. Mono-Blue Croc has a lackluster ability, but 5 Life instead of 4 is nice and could go for a Cross Guild build if you want. Croc is my favorite so I've spent a lot of time thinking about these guys haha

some attendum that would of course be too much to include in the video: Lim is very cheap currently, will apparently be pretty good in 09 but requires the 9c zoro As someone who started out on Nami and do recommend it to new players the deck is very difficult Not only is it counterintuitive to anyone who has not played mill-style decks before, it essentially requires you to understand every deck to be piloted as well as having a few subskills that are unique to it and do not transition over However i am certain every GOOD nami player is also really good at the game, and can perform on any deck given some familiarity with it

I will say that one of my favorite pet decks is Kalgara not only because its fun but its also pretty cheap only kind of pricy card is 5 cost ace and thats like 6$, literally every other card is a rare or lower. feel like he doesn't get played/recognized because he's kind of a weird character for a leader, but overall a super fun yellow aggro deck.

I know a guy who won a "big" (more prize support but still local) tournament with the cheapest kalgara deck you could imagine (playing 2 aces) it really helps that most of the cards are like 10 pence

Purple yellow crocodile is actually fairly cheap (no bon clays). The actual core of the deck is like $30 and anything else would be yellow and purple staples that you will probably use for other decks in the future
