It’s SOOOOO refreshing to see reactions and questions, conversations without yelling, over-reactions, overacting and fake interest just to get subscribers. I’m so tired of those kind of reactors. And am so loving your content. The more I watch the fewer reactors I want to watch everything they do. You are one of the few. And love you introducing new people to BTS. You introduce 30 new people to BTS and I’m sure I (and everyone else) would happily watch each and every one of them watching those videos every time.

Italian army does the best video for spring day explain. I don’t think you truly understand it until you see that video since it has so much video of parents willing while they were trying to get people to go rescue them and the government officials just made excuses. Piri is still my favorite title track. Fill out my top 5 with Scream, Boca, Odd Eye and Deja Vu. Piri was the 4th video I was watched when I was getting into them (Boca, Sceam, Deja Vu, Piri) and Siyeon with that blonde hair made me make her my other bias.. I typically only have 1 bias and multiple wreckers, but Dreamcatcher is one of my exceptions. I later watched the story line that Piri is apart if I order of release when I learned it was apart of a story. I am currently working on getting my hair cut to Dami’s Piri hair style. Their latest comeback- Because takes influence from “Us” movie with come of the concept, MV and choreo. Nightmare Series- (each member embodies a nightmare/fear) Chase me- Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What, Piri. Alternate ending with Breaking Out. Dystopia trilogy- (anti cyber bullying. Getting lost in tech/internet/ thinking it’s Utopia. Members are guardians of tree of language) Scream, Boca, Odd Eye

My biases- Dami and Siyeon (pronounced Shi-yeon) Bias wreckers- SuA and JiU.. though Yoohyeon and Handong like to wreak me too.. especially Handong after Odd Eye My first mvs- Boca, Sceam, Deja Vu, Piri, You and I. Dami had me in Boca. Siyeon, SuA and Jiu wreaked me. Then Piri happened and blonde Siyeon forced me to make her bias with Dami. I later went and watched the nightmare in order of release a few times (Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What, Piri) and then a few times starting with Fly High as it worked better for me as a set up instead of a flash back. Their first Japanese release- Breaking out is thought to be an alternate ending to Nightmare Story. Deja Vu- kings raid mobile game collab Rose Blue- Girl Cafe Gun (or something like that) mobile game collab Eclipse- Kings Raid Anime opening My Way and I Miss You, are on their first Japanese album with Breaking Out that had Japanese versions for songs from the nightmare era, Endless Night was the second Japanese comeback, No More was a single that was then added to the Eclipse EP, Don’t Light my Fire is also on the Eclipse EP. SuA last rapped in Good Night and a little in BEcause. Dami did the sole rapping in Fly High, You and I and What. Piri was Gahyeon’s rapping debut. Siyeon has a tattoo on the back of her neck “Paradise is where I am” that is inspired by her feelings after Minx disbandment and her current feelings with Dreamcater. This also inspired her solo song “Paradise” that has 4 mvs- original, white, black, piano. All of Siyeon’s covers are killer: Overdose, Speechless, We all lie, Faded.. Their official channel has various play lists. By album, just mvs, v-logs, Dreamcatcher notes (behind the scenes stuff staring from debut), dreamcatcher mind (their variety show), special clips (b-sides or covers- solo, duo, trio, group). Their Self made mvs- Sahara, Break The Wall and Poison Love are so funny. Dreamcatcher gives us so much content. Insomnicy is a channel that has a lot of good Dreamcatcher content- introducing series, montages, this is (2020) and (2021) series, and a lot of other things. Dreamcatcher is the most talented KPop female group in my opinion for they can do it all. I only Stan 3 groups- Monsta x, Mamamoo and Dreamcatcher.

The only other girl group I know that had a similarly incredible vocal line was Girls' Generation OT9 (Taeyeon, Jessica, Seohyun, Tiffany, and Sunny), especially their cover of 'Honey, Honey' on LaLaLa Live back in 2009. Otherwise, 'Twinkle' , 'Holler', and 'Adrenaline' by Girls' Generation - TTS (Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun) was quite epic too for vocals! 31:03 Next year they will be going to the 'Primavera Sound' Rock Festival in Barcelona (really big rock festival in Spain), so super stoked! The other rock festival mentioned in case no one told you was the Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival in 2017 with fancams on reddit.

Technically, "bark bark" is 멍멍 "meongmeong" (and thus a cute name for a dog, 멍멍이 "meongmeongi"). 몽몽이 "mongmongi" is also sometimes used, but more than that, 몽 (夢) "mong" is "dream" (though not as a standalone word). You can find it for example in the word 악몽 "nightmare", the name of Dreamcatcher's album. Thus, 몽 "mong" is very significant to Dreamcatcher. I'd say 몽몽이 is something like "Dreamdreamy", if you will. :P

You know there's also a _robe_ to go along with that lightstick, right..? InSomnia are a whole _coven_ of clowns... 😜 The ultimate takeaway of Odd Eye is that there's no Utopia for us to _find._ You can't just stop everyone else from being assholes. But we _can_ take it upon ourselves to each be the best influence we can be, and make the world we find ourselves that little bit better each time. 🙂 It's a bittersweet ending, but with a little hope that we all have our own role to play.

My one and only complaint about the Odd Eye MV is that they don't show Sua's amazing high kick (would have been around 16:42) It seems weird to leave out a killing part like that, but I guess maybe they couldn't get a shot they were happy with. Atleast there's plenty of performances where she does it :)

Dystopia Trilogy breakdown: "Scream": Hear no evil. The beginning of the video has a tagline that says, "One day suddenly the light did not come. People forgot how to say good things." In the background is the Tree of Language, which is full of life and vibrancy. Then it becomes dark and infected with the negative emotions and words people say to others while behind the mask of a screen, i.e., cyberbullying. There is a line in the chorus that goes "Devil, eyes, come, 눈을 뜬다" (pronounced 'nuneul tteonda', which means "open your eyes" or "wake up" depending upon the context). This is meant to be a warning to see the evil for what it is, rather than sugarcoating it, while simultaneously being a defense against it, as the devil horns in other cultures is actually something used to represent protection from evil, not to support it. The themes and aesthetics of this video are medieval fantasy and nature. The main line during the chorus, "Please I don't want to scream", is from the point of view of the one's being abused through cyberbullying. They don't want to scream and have the evil be heard, hence hear no evil. Then at the end of the song, the lyrics change to "I just want to make you scream", showing us that the victims in the story eventually become the abusers to others themselves once they've been corrupted by the cyberbullying. "Boca": Speak no evil. This song is pretty self-explanatory in its lyrics. It is simply a message towards the cyberbullies that they should shut their mouths or that Dreamcatcher will shut their mouths if they have nothing nice to say to others when using social media. The themes and aesthetics evolve to a more modern and urban style. They are in a neon city, fouled by dust and smog from the pollution of the cyberbullying. The Tree of Language is inside a sacred garden, being guarded by goddesses (aka, Dreamcatcher themselves). Eventually, the painful words of others sting the goddesses, causing them to bleed (their blood is gold), and the Tree of Language gets more corrupted. During the bridge, Sua sings "Too many angels dying now. I'm gonna change your mind. 다시 숨 쉴 수 있게" (pronounced 'dasi sum swil su issge', which means "to be able to breathe again"). This is in reference to the fact that angels, i.e., people, especially other K-pop stars, have been dying or are comitting suicide because of the words they hear from others online. Sua wants to change the cyberbullies' minds so that they can let the other people live and breathe another day. To speak no evil and think before they say things. "Odd Eye": See no evil. The Tree of Language has become digitized and infused with the veins and wires of social media. We are in a dystopian future, where the cyberbullying has reached its peak. People are fed lies and images they only want to see to promote their twisted views. They are goaded in by status on social media and through the colorful ads on tv. Yoohyeon drinking the red liquid is her giving into the lies and living a false life. Gahyeon is being attacked through the screen. Handong is choking herself through a mirror, marred and disturbed by her own self-image that she fronts to others, while living a life of lies behind closed doors. They are all sucked in and trapped in this digital world of hate, where the currency is vanity and the profits are pride. The lyrics tell us to not believe these lies and that we can see the evil if we just open our "odd eye" and pay close attention to the world around us. Then we will take the blinders off and see it for what it truly is. Thus, Dreamcatcher realizes that the world will always be full of hate. They are not hiding behind the lies anymore that they can find a utopia because it doesn't exist. Rather, they instead come to believe that their utopia, the land they dreamed of, is within themselves and how they behave and act towards others, including their enemies. They didn't find the utopia they were looking for because they were looking in the wrong place. They didn't find the utopia they were looking for... because it found them. It's not as sad of an ending as it seems, though it does bring realization and the seriousness of cyberbullying or even what an addiction to social media can do to people who are susceptible to it. I hope this clears it all up for you. I look forward to your future Dreamcatcher reactions. I'd recommend checking out their "Odd Eye (Dystopia Version)" for a really cool bow to tie the whole Dystopia Trilogy together. Additionally, I look forward to your reaction to their new comeback "BEcause", which came out two weeks ago, on July 30th. I'll explain the story for that music video when you upload it, haha. Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". And the song is a banger!
