Thanks for sharing, Audrey! You've really got a knack for organizing and have given me a lot of ideas! Your space is huge compared to my little 12' X 8' magic corner studio LOL! And my kiln is outside under a canopy, so firings revolve around the weather! Just a hobby now but would really love to get more serious once I retire in a few years, so always thinking about creating a new space. Love your videos and thanks again for sharing!

You have everything so nicely organized! I’m in the planning stage of moving into our two car garage (I’ll have one side) so this was great to see how you have everything laid out. I like the rolling carts!

Wow so much stuff. I don't feel so bad now. I thought as a beginner I was going overboard. But......everytime I see a video and a process. I think I want to eventually try that. So then each fortnight I buy a little more. But.... I wish I had a garage. I have a study I converted to my studio. And kiln outside under my porch. Thanks for sharing

You are super organized and nothing I saw had clay all over it. My studio is in my garage also and it’s a challenge to stay neat and organized. Most of the furniture in my studio was free. I found the best rotating wire rack like you would see in a store. It’s super heavy duty and someone had it in their front yard with a sign that said free on it so I stopped and picked that up right away, thanks for the tour. Cheers , Liana 😊

Thank you for an other great kiln opening 🙏🏻 I was wondering the mug at 14:09 the green tea, texture turquoise and seaweed combination - how many layers did you use? You can tell that was my favourite, I loved the soft colours 😍😍

Hi, Gabriella. I used 3x green tea as a base then 2x Textured Turquoise as a wide rim and 2x Seaweed on top of TT as a narrower rim. Thanks for asking!

Wow wow wow! So many beautiful pieces, I don’t know if I could choose a favorite. The whale mug is SPECTACULAR. The berry bowls… the carved vases… ahh. So pretty. I’d say that was a successful kiln!

Thank you so much! I think the Obsidian down with water. I don't know how much I did exactly but I would venture to guess 1 part water to 4parts Obsidian. Maybe do a few tests. It's just so the other glazes don't have to compete so much with the Obsidian.

Hey Audrey wow that’s the best northern lights I’ve seen love!! Berry bowl is stunning! My fav way of seeing seaweed when over storm. So pretty. The refire vase is a great success! I love the angel I think the spectrum celadon u showed in the beginning could be pretty too or Amaco supernova. Love the shipwreck for men’s beer stein. That cinnabar mug is glorious! Yeah I avoid commissions too!

Awwww, thanks Nat! I am very happy with the Northern Lights results. I also thought the Spectrum Celadon would look good on the Angel. I will try that too. Yes, a beer stein would look great dressed in the Shipwreck combo! Hahaha!...RIGHT!? ...no commissions, please!

Beautiful results! My favorite is probably the carved vase with rainy day, peacock, and seaweed. I must try that combo! Question: On the whale mug, do you sculpt the whales, or do you have a mold? I'm hoping it's a mold. 🤞 Almost forgot, the adorable angel is very pretty the way it is, but if you want more sparkle, maybe add Mother of Pearl and do a luster fire.

Try Amaco Supernova on top of 1 coat of some white glaze. I use Laguna nebula blue x2 and 2-4 coats of Amaco supernova. Makes an iridescent white with amber tones.

The humpback mug is fabulous! Nice job everything is so blended but the whales still pop its like they are in outer space! The brown and white planter looks great i think you should leave it as is. The carving designs are very cool 🎉

Also like the sienna and mulberry but I agree more drippy would be cool. Maybe more flux but also ASB like you said would look good too

Thanks so much, Amanda. I agree about the pot. I will leave as is and even duplicate it. Agreed about the Purple and sienna mug. Do you know of a glaze I could apply to 2/3 of the mug that would make it drip but not lose the colours?...Pearl White, Archie's Base...or maybe just Albany Slip Brown wide bands on the Sienna.
