I think they are 2011-2014... The single seam under the big button starting from 2010, the back pockets have crooked arches, which also indicates that they are from those years. A paper label is also simple. There are not many details like from the '90s, regardless of whether they were made in the USA or another market. On the main button there is the number of the country where they were made.. China 3496, Egypt 4757....or

How do they fit compared to Lee 101 Riders? I wear a 33 in the Rider. Does the Z fit wider in the waist?

Riders are more slim tapered fit, I prefer 101z which is is more like a regular straight. I've done side by side review both of them couple years ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKKWdpaeZctoadE If you are 33 in the waist, I would recommend getting the same size 101z you should be fine. Good luck!

Does this knife lock as in uk all pocket knife have to be folding knife but if folding lock knife then illegal. The length of blade is within legal limit but the sound from the video says it's a lock knife. Criminals have caused this but the law abiding people suffer.

It is more like a utility/box cutter knife with 1.5" blade, very handy. Sorry I am not familiar with UK law and don't know what exactly constitutes a lock knife? This one does not have any spring assistance and you have to unfold it manually.

I now got both. 101 Rider are a much better fitting jeans than Z, in my opinion.

Exactly. Today I tried on both in the same size. 101Z were a sort of oversized version of 501. Riders were just perfect, keeping in mind future shrinkage. I got very impressed by the Riders, and ordered them immediately from the Lee site, for the today's sale price it is a steal. I also took a chance to order a wool shirt, not so sure about the right size, though...

@Klaxet are you in the USA? Curious re: different markets getting product made in various LEE-contracted factories. Your Rider and Z jeans were Made in Italy which makes sense for EU markets. Preferable if the US market gets Italy-made jeans vs. a 3rd world located factory.

Форма карманов, она такая с 1944 года. Как и левосторонний твилл, и серо-зеленоватого оттенка деним, с лимонного цвета контрастной строчкой. Применить контрастную строчку, зиппер, и не только, придумал основатель компании, Генри Девид Ли. Потому как, он хотел иметь свои преимущества, и сделать свои дюнгарииз лучше чем сам Ливайс. И, ему удалось. Желательно сначала хоть что-то знать про особенности "Большой тройки", а, уже потом, предлагать такое вот икспердное мнение...

I live in India and I wish they sold these here. I lived in Canada for 7 years straight and I used to wear them all day and every day for work. I worked in construction. I actually have this denim in the true straight fit and the 22oz gauntlet in strongman, which I wish i sized up one in. I really like the denim they sell but their fits, in my size, all have too shallow of a rise for my preference. I know they have the new panhead buckle back fit, which has the 11.5" rise i look for with a 32" waist, but like I've said I have my work cut out. I got the pairs i own from the factory seconds on the site so they were $80 for the gauntlet and like $60 for the golden handshake. Ive used the gauntlet for work and they are a good denim for welding in, which is what i was doing, seem like fast faders too. The golden handshake I've worn a few times around the house, but I hope to get to work in them soon, im working on a different pair at the moment. Great video!

I saw some on sale and thought about it, but my denim collection is outgrowing my space. I have 40 pairs. I'm looking to sell some. But still. It's gonna take the rest of my life to fade what I have. Granted there's some grey and ecru denim and other indigo alternative jeans, but still. It's getting out of hand 😅

@Klaxet most of it was just finding decent deals on new with tag denim 2nd hand. I was working on a big job site earlier this year and we started getting slow, but it was a time and material job, so I was making some decent money but be looking at denim all day, and that's when I really started to get out of control. I'm trying to slow down, but then a lady sells me 2 pairs of naked and famous jeans NWT for $60... one I can wear, the other it's the same size, but they're loomstate, and I don't think the person who got them understood you have to size up a few inches. I'll try to resell them. But they're only a 32" waist, so they're gonna shrink to about 30". They'd be nice, natural indigo, but I got plenty to work on. The other pair are the gradient red core jeans that fade to red. That's pretty cool, but I don't know. We'll see.

Эскьюзми. Крой отвратительный, внизу слишком узкие, а сама джинса и пошив на отличном уровне. Попробуйте джинсы Ariat, модель M2 Swagger, или M2 Dusty Road, Это лучшее что я встречал на этой планете из джинс.

Меня в 80 годы угораздило ходить в женском рэнглере,как я стал подозревать через много лет,но не подумайте ничего эдакого.Просто раньше инфа о джинсах стремилась к нулю.Но лучше и качественнее штанов-я не встречал.Сделано на мальте,ни одной клёпки,молния с сапогом на зиппере,Одна оранжевая строчка снаружи,на внутренней стороне -нет.Шикарные штаны-ничего лишнего, совсем чуть-расклешенные от коленей.После стирки и высыхания-поставил их в угол...Вот это была-Вещь...

Как-то в 90е купил rifle--оказались очень тонкие,даже если сквозь материал смотреть на просвет,то видны от лампы множество просветов в виле точек с булавочную глловку,при этом материал был довольно жёсткий,так они,как ни странно,"живы" до сих пор,пот5рлись красиво,года три носил каждый день,даже зимой,поддевая трико, затем -летом,и по желанию.В общем-оказались прочными,как ни удивительно.

I have the same model, got them about two years ago, also in 33. I love the cut, classic '60s taper, goes with everything. The light blue fade accents are such a beautiful colour, I've washed them cold a few times. I hem them to wear without a cuff, I d wear a cuff on my Lee 50's Riders. That is my favorite Lee denim, like you say the weight is perfect. The left hand twill is very comfortable and the quality of the denim is great. BTW, If you wash your other pair in warm water they will shrink back to the original size, you'll be able to wear them without your belt for a while until they stretch out again. That size looks great on you, fit perfectly. Nice doggy !

2 washes - one soak and one wash to be exact. they do fade pretty quick to be honest.

What is the difference between 101 and 101Z? My observation about Lee is that they are usually having a low rise. Now I'm wearing a Wrangler 13 MWZ and Levi's 501. But those two Lee that I have, have a little lower rise than 13 MWZ and 501 which I don't like. But on the other hand, Lee is legend of the jeans brands.
