Uniqlo Selvedge is great because they use exactly the same most common Japanese denim used by the 7* more expensive very heavy biker 25oz : Kaihara: for $35 the quality is outstanding. It has carved a niche. Levi's Selvedge is $170. It's all about the material and quality control. Uniqlo do the job.

Why do they have a shiny gloss/sheen to them? It looks like they are organic cotton and organic indigo which I freaking love 🔥. Also that fit is way better than the last ones you got. Thanks for keeping us updated 💪

The sheen is gone after the first wash. honestly this is my favorite jeans right now, perfect for travel. Thanks for watching.

Maybe mercerization process. A type of finish they'll use on jeans to improve strength, shrinkage, fade, etc

Do you always wash your denim when you buy it? Does this affect the fade?

Normally I would wear them couple weeks or so just to stretch them and than I would do initial 30- 40 min soak (not a wash) just to get all the starch out. After that, I won't wash them for a while.

Здравствуйте, подскажите пожалуйста на каком сайте лучше купить левайс винтаж и будет ли там сама ткань лучше чем в рядовых моделях или нет? Так же хотел бы узнать, если рассматривать обычные модели - то какую страну производителя лучше выбрать? Просто у меня есть три 501 модели купленные в оф. магазине и везде разная страна производитель и разная ткань. Дольше всех проносились Пакистанские, но они и самые жесткие на ощупь были, а самые мягкие Мексиканские довольно быстро проносились, я так и не понял, Пакистанские всегда из более ноской ткани делают или это лотерея?

You should wear it before it becomes completely dry. Then you can create nice wrinkles for future whiskers and honeycombs.

@@Klaxet I wear it while it's dump not depending on the fit. It's for getting creases more easily and profoundly. Wear it while it's dump then keep in squat position for a while. You can't get these kinds of creases if you wore it after it gets dried. These creases will create nice fades in the future.

They don't shrink at all. I washed them twice (no dryer) still perfect fit. So buy them your own size. Good luck.

Not really, it doesn't fade as fast as I expected, which is a good thing.
