First time viewer, sorry in advance, the longer the video, the more I comment, imma chatty one, you obvs use terracotta quite a bit, using the chopstick to get the soil and roots loosened from the pot! That systemic must be banned in Canada, can’t get it here :( the amount of pests I’ve had just in the last couple months I really coulda used it Your son is adorable

Stacy, ur son opening his ornaments was so sweet 😊 I loved the book recs IT was so crazy that 2 were from the New England area. That were I Honeymooned in both those places. I'm no longer married but wouldn't mind revisiting the area through books. Peperomia Hope is my favorite Peperomia btw
@Mandi_Hui6 сағат бұрын
The peperomia hope the yellows looks like it has nutrients deficiency. Not enough light and watering issues. Hopefully it will bounce back for you and go back green. I have a hard time growing this one leaves drop and leggy growth. Think it needs alot of light.

Love all your videos but especially this one. Your voice is so soothing and calm and I loved the end where your adorable son screeches with excitement and happiness with his new toys. You're such a lovely person, thank you again for your 2 new videos. This may sound weird but I even like the crunchy sounds of the soil mix going into the pot. Take care

I loved the bonus too, LoL. I noticed something, I want to talk about. When I am rooting cuttings, I always place them in clear recycled jars. I never put them in a cover pot. In my mind, they need a lot of sun, so I never cover the root area. Interesting that you do. I never did an experiment to see if it makes any difference. Enjoyed the video very much. Are you here on the East Coast too?
@mypetitegarden19 сағат бұрын
Im so glad you enjoyed that little clip ☺️ and about rooting cuttings, so from my experience, as long as the leaves are getting light and the roots are kept warm, it should be fine since if we think about the roots of plants - they are usually growing underground or when they are in pots, the roots themselves are not really exposed to sunlight. Hope that makes sense. Yes, I am in New York!

Hi Stacy! SO happy to see you back on here more often--you have a stunning collection and you inspired me to finally decided to get a cissus quadrangularis :) Could you do a video on rhipsalis/jungle cacti in general? I wish they were more available and present in the plant scene. Also--what is that stunning upright cactus/succulent on your shelf? Looks like a dancing bones but isn't trailing. Sending love from sunny AZ 🌵
@mypetitegardenКүн бұрын
@caitlin6366 aw thank you so much! ❤️ yes, absolutely! I love growing rhipsalis, and I wish they were more popular too. I actually think it's a dancing bones! Rhipsalis Hatiora salicornioides. When i bought it, it wasn't labeled, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I know! Mine decides it wants to grow up right 😆 I think it might be because I have it growing under my grow lights.

Thanks for taking us along Stacy! Such a beautiful walk. Have a fantastic week! Oh can I ask how to prop my cissus quadrangularis? I am nervous to just chop a segment off because it’s just a single stem but about 7 segments.. I am just about done reading Piranesi.
@mypetitegarden7 күн бұрын
@PetraEmmy thank you for coming along!! 😀 oh its super simple, you can actually just snip off the segments and put them in water or any substrate you prefer to propagate in. I have propagated successfully many times in water. I need to read Piranesi! How are you liking it? I loved Circe! Not sure if you have read that one yet. It's another greek mythology retelling.

Hi Stacy! Your hike with the family was so beautiful! What a nice area...it really looked like a perfect day! I found scale on my Decursiva.....I chopped it all and chucked the bottom with roots.....I have no idea how it came about except if they crawled from a cactus that I use to have that got thrown.....I need a pepperoni fichii or finachii now after seeing yours.....I forgot about that one and always wanted one....I use to have the collina Hoya too....yours is a beauty so I think I would try that one again!
