Love frontrange ceramics, his pots are the best! Oh lovely orchids. I didn’t know the foliage could look so different. The ones I see at plant shops or grocery stores just don’t look as cool 😅. Hope they all bloom for you! Can’t wait to see. Thanks for sharing ❤

Hi Stacy, I love your haul and especially your Orchids! They are my favorite plant, and I currently have about 40 in my collection. I am sure you will do great with them and having your Dad's knowledge is a plus!! My main tips would be to patient with them, don't overwater and enjoy their beauty!!

Why I am not surprised. Your orchids looks unique to me. Great haul Stacey I’ve had 5 regular phal… for a couple of years now and just today I ordered some Paph…. and variegated leaves phal….. to my collection. Can’t wait to get them. Hopefully they are healthy.

Hi Stacy! Your channel is one of my favorites. I have been growing orchids for some years. I think it's important to find out when you should water each orchid in your environment. That depends on temperature, humidity, air flow and the substrate each one is potted in. Enough light is also important fot them to grow well and bloom. Each genus has different light requirements.

I love your new orchids Stacey❤, so beautiful and your new pots also. I just placed an order lol 😂 with the company, I love that you are such a influence. The dr Judy is sold out but I was able to get 3 others. The website at the moment is slim pickings, which means they have great quality. I’m on Long Island too, I definitely need to get to an orchid show, like you I’m just getting my feet wet. Philodendron and Hoyas are of course the faves, but orchids and the blooms💕✌️. I'm one step ahead of you 😆 I started with someone giving me their Phalaenopsis (from an important person in their lifes funeral) and i rehabbed it and got it to rebloom and pressed one of the blooms for them to keep. Then I discovered Paphiopedilum with spotted leaves. I'm on the hunt for a variegated Phalaenopsis leaf. I found a Dendrobium Oriental smile fantasy outside and im rehabbing it. Then at a swap someone left a Paphiopedilum hsinying citron double citron x hilo key lime "summer green". I signed up for an orchid class and got 2. Maxillaria tenufolia or the "coconut orchid" and a Miltoniopsis edwidge sabourin. At that same class I found an orchid with a flower spike and pointed it out and they gave it to me. Phalaenopsis venosa "wilson". So I'm on the orchid fast track all of a sudden! Ecugenarea is doing a pop up here bringing plants for the friday before Halloween. I signed up for early access but also preordered 3 orchids. Ack! One of them is the one you got in this video! Brassavola nodosa. The other are are a Bulbophyllum roxburghii (i feel like youd like the fan flower too) and a sophronitis coccinea xanthoglossa. Am i an orchid lady now?

Your terracotta pots are nice, I didn't notice any flaws. How cool! You're taking a liking to orchids. I've had an addiction to orchids for 8 years, and it hasn't subdued. Lol That's a nice perk, to get orchid wisdom from your dad. From your haul the Neo is my favorite and from your dad's haul, the Miltoniopsis. You acquired several warm/hot growing orchids. My tips would be warmth, high light and regular fertilizing. Best of luck on your orchid journey. 😊

Just remember orchids are epiphytes with aerial roots! Means they need their roots exposed to air and not compacted under potting medium. Also be sure to snip off the flower stalks soon as summer is their growing period and you can get a start on fresh new flower stalks for the next flowering season! Always repot new orchids asap ❤

I love the Madagascar Jasmine❤ it’s so beautiful! There is a plant recently I got which is Fatsia Japonica. Initially I ordered as a regular Fatsia Japonica but seller told me they left with variegated version, in the end I still want to have it! It’s also beautiful, as it has maple leaves shape. I think u will like it💕😊

Those are beautiful orchids and I love the variegated jasmine! I have found orchids do better for me close to the window. Most tags say to have them away from windows. Wonder if your dad has advice to share and what varieties he likes.

I am starting to use terracotta pots for my outdoor balcony plants since they drain well. Also some for my indoor plants on my window sill for cacti and succulents ones since they don’t like to be sitting in water and drains and evaporates the excess water well. I prefer the neutral colours like light grey. Not into the orange. I like my neutral colours goes well with my modern home. Since you don’t vlog often starting to hear your voice talking low and kinda shaky and nervous more now. I am a nervous and shy person myself not great in front of a crowded room and in a camera or being centre of attention too.

A word of caution, orchid roots will stick to terra cotta. This makes repotting very difficult.
