Great point about the glue picking up the slack...now we don't have guys doing that on top of our Stars going on vacation. Love Harper.. but jeez he's struggling

Their record since May is likely closer to who they are than the hot start. This roster is more or less the same roster that was a Wild Card last season, disappeared in the NLCS, and wasnt predicted in the preseason to compete for the NL East. They got saved by that hot streak and half the Braves roster being out. And despite that, an injured Braves have still won both series so far. And the Mets are coming fast.

I think I'll trade the whole philly lineup ( besides harper ) for Aaron Judge... I didn't realize his numbers were that phenomenal... take this into perspective, in 2021, when harper won the mvp, he batted 309, 35 HR, and 84 RBI.... that was his whole season stats............... now check out Aaron Judge, with still two months left in the season, he's batting 319, 39 HR, and 99 RBI... and again, there's still two months left in the season... that's insane... he's by far the best player in mlb today

DD u have been here 4 deadlines and your moves are trash and the fact u brought back basically the same god damn 9 hitters after what happened in NLCS wtf do u think would happen. The pressure is mounting and they will wilt. Harper and TT your 660mil combined money u are earning it..... I bet Mets to win division at 45/1

Greetings, Phillies fans. Yankee fan here, just doing some oppo research. I thought our (Yankee) fanbase was disillusioned and cynical, but you have us beat! From the outside, looking in, the Phillies have a (scary) good team. So hang on to your cheesesteaks -- you (that's "youse" in Philly parlance) are still the class of the N.L., and you have the horses to straighten things out. It's been a rough month or longer for us, too. After tomorrow's matinee, I wish you luck. I'm looking forward to seeing you again in a 2009 World Series rematch.

They are struggling at the moment. You can see they are trying to hard to make something happen. Earlier in the year they were more relaxed and just going with the flow. They will be ok . Just give them a little time here . I think after the trade dead line is over they will be ok .
@marcosc7375Күн бұрын
I’m a Yankee fan. Your team is very good. Our team has an issue with the bullpen and yours is just amazing with swing and miss stuff. Your team just lost it that’s all. We have lost more heartbreaking ones with our closer which we call cardiac clay. The Phillies have a very good team. They will get through this.

They didn’t hesitate at 2nd base should’ve been an out by Kyle he slid at gleybor instead of the bag that’s an automatic double play
@philricke8372Күн бұрын
Well... the story behind the second Jazz HR was that he asked to use Judge's bat and Judge told him he better use it. That's a heavy bat and he used it. It wasn't meant to be a "beat your chest" kind of celebration. It was a dugout chuckle.
@LockedOnSportsPhiladelphiaКүн бұрын
I get that. I do. But we’ve watched his BS w/ the Marlins for years in Philly. Save that for the dugout when it’s off a backup catcher.
@joshczamara9554Күн бұрын
Why don’t you just acknowledge the fact Luis Gil is a rookie of the year candidate and pitched as he should have. You act like yall faced a bum or something. You guys got the best lineup in baseball and your 8:33 crying rn lmao
@LockedOnSportsPhiladelphiaКүн бұрын
Mainly bc lately the Phillies have SUCKED vs much lesser arms than Louis Gil, so although Gil certainly deserves his praise, the story from a philly perspective is more why the Phils’ continue to struggle and not, “wow! out of no where the Phils got dominated by this rookie”

Pretty obvious we were losing if we couldn't grab the lead by the 6th. Cleveland bullpen is filthy and our guys weren't going to score off them. Only a matter of time before we give it up
