If you want to see another incredible Victorian home as set for a film, I most highly recommend "Crimes of the Heart", made in 1986 and set in the South. The story is wonderful, and the house is a big part of it's charm.

No worries! Nobody actually steps on them. We use the steps on the other side and the stone is just a small detail around the perimeter of the pool. All safe!

They were some big fabric samples/cut outs! They did however sell big pieces of the fabric. I’m not sure if they still do, but you can check on their website now with the updated catalog!

I have seen all the Nancy meyers movies countless times over the years. They are all so fun and so happy, and so beautiful. Your podcast is the best if any I have ever watched or listened to, and you have restored my confidence in pretty, cozy, traditional style…my own style my entire life. Your focus on the the ways in which Meyers’s style is always beautiful, and yes, fashionable, while remaining true to her classic roots is refreshing to hear. Thanks so much for sharing your insights on traditional home design. Please keep it up!

OMG I watched your entire video on the off chance I could get an idea of the prices of their (small) paper machè bowls… I was SO excited when you grabbed one… anxiously waited until the very end since you didn’t mention the price while you were in store…. then, you showed your haul, gave the prices of everything, EXCEPT the price for the bowl!! DYING!! 😭😄 I live in NYC and now I’m obsessed with that actual store. ❤️

Somebody was selling one on marketplace and I wanted to do a quick price comparison to see if they were totally overcharging. But it got snapped up by somebody else so fast because it was so fabulous. I’m going to see what I can get online when they do their next drop in June. ❤️ 🫒

Nice video, but the word curated was so overused, it was too distracting. There are so many words that convey the meaning and add to the visualization, e.g., arranged, coordinated, carefully selected, hand-picked, and many more.

Its a gorgeous store. Obviously lots that we can find in Europe there. LA seems to be expensive for sure. I found 2 of the vintage Ikea loungers here in the UK for £20 ($25) each. I think I got a good score there :D
