Something that could be nice is pulling back the plaid curtains as you did in the last clip of them and then putting thinner beige curtains in between the plaid curtains so they’re layered

I see what you mean! Unfortunately I feel like the space is too small and layering the curtains could make it very cramped. But that would totally work on a larger space!

The plad drapes work better with your faux eggplant wall panels which sets the tone for the room. If you're set on those cream drapes, I suggest you repaint those panels cuz the contrast is just too jaring. And you really should reconsider the positioning of that desk. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

hi new to your channel. i really like some of the features in your apartment. can I ask without meaning to sound impolite why you chose not to paint the light switches?

Hey! Welcome to the channel! Not impolite at all! I rent the apartment, and while we are allowed to paint and make changes on the walls, we can’t really touch the light switches! That’s it. If I owned, light switches would be transformed too for sure!

One question..... why did you not run the cord covers directly on top of the molding instead of leaving that space between the cover and the molding?

Great question! I had actually considered this and even tried it out off camera but felt like it didn’t look good visually. Having that separation makes it look a bit cleaner in person!
