This stuff used to sound a lot better thirty plus years ago. Getting old sucks. Going from 20 to 50 is a nightmare.

Even 2024, I really love this song.]Very peaceful with funs and police officers. I support local English citizens, don't be beaten by globalist and stupd immigrant policy. Love from Japan.

That's me down the front looking the worse for wear (2:07), sporting a Finbarr Saunders "Fnarr Fnarr" white T-shirt and a waistcoat... those were the days.

0:32 is where it starts, roughly. I played the vinyl single to death, and the B side. Love, love, love the song, and the memories. I know a lot of people say it, but I wanna go back to this time, which was a bit magical for me.

So we were on our way to races, to the not so cheap but very expensive seats and this gem popped in my head. I found the tune on YT shared it on the car radio, then dropped the window down and turned up the volume on the way to the stands with our posh togs on. 🎩👒

I saw The Wonder Stuff play at Toad's place in New Haven, CT. in late September of 1991. Unbeknownst to my 13 year old self, that same night a little indie band from Seattle called Nirvana was playing just a few miles down the road 😩
