I've seen people do a lot with these types of trailers. With the prices of trailers and everything else nowadays getting back to making it yourself is a great idea 💡

Just thought I'd help you out and give you a few comments. I know sometimes it's hard to get material. I personally like this kind of stuff for your helping your daughter out. Just at the platform won't pick it up and promote it as they would. You may want to change your channel type temporarily for these type of videos. Under home improvement or hobby videos maybe 🤔 something along those lines. Spend a little time almost done but spending a little time in the area Griffin. I thought you went there and did a video or to you. Maybe not. South of you. Black Sammy Hagar says I can't do 55. 🤔🤣🤣. I have found a lot of content. I'll be editing for a while.

Thanks for the comment. I know what you are saying that the platform not picking it up. I just did these Travel Trailer Videos because Anna wanted us to do it together, then she got called into work. These types of non-automotive videos are just for fun and we are not really looking for views. Hey, at least this had 4 wheels & a spare! Our main concern is time. I work full time and then spend 3 nights a week and a full weekend day helping a family member that is wheelchair bound. The issue we are having is Anna's time in town has not been lining up with my free time. I hope things get less hectic in the following months & we can get back to playing with cars.

@Blu_Grit_Garage it sounds like you've got your plate more than full. It's nice that you and your daughter are doing this together, as you have time. You know I've got people going back a year or two on mine and viewing some of them. Another KZbinr has 4,600 videos that he's put out in roughly 4 years. I know his backstory but I don't tell people's business. But I will say that he said he's living off of that. He doesn't live extravagantly. I think he has a little less than 15,000 subscribers. Most of his videos are longer videos five to 15 minutes. over the last several months has been doing more shorts 🩳. Him and I traded ideas over the last couple of years. I have given him a little bit of content that worked out pretty well for him. He's on Facebook and something else I believe Twitter. He has worked his butt off and he's very very active. I do know fellow who has a channel. He has been helpful on technical points. He hands out technical suggestions and plans and ideas like a car guy would hand out a suggestion on how to better adjust the points on a car. No charge. Anyway if you're interested I'll give you contact information to check them out. I just believe that you have what it takes to succeed

We used that would only signing around the perimeter and strung up heat lamps in the middle underneath the trailer in safe conditions. I think you got this heat lamps about every 20 to 25 ft from 1 end to the other end. Light switch so we can always flip it on plus the light switch we had timer on it. So we could do it one or two ways. Heat up underneath it. Please the trailer for hanging out at a place we have. I'm just sharing with you. You look like you did a fine job. On another note 🎶 here's this. Hey do you know junk car Willie and his channel? He has shown more salvage yards in hidden stashes and almost anybody I know on KZbin. That is the last couple of years. Anyway he's a grandpa showing off his granddaughter who isn't about a few hours old. I know it would put a smile on your face. So I thought I would share it with you whether you know him or not. Have you thought about putting your hoes through a piece of inch and a half to 2 inch heavy wall PVC pipe? You still need to wrap it. Also you might think about that pex tubing. Comes in red and blue I don't know about any other color. I have not seen it burst when it freezes. I'm just throwing out some ideas 💡. Been there done it kind of thing. Also make sure there's some kind of insulated skirting going for the ground up to the camper trailer. Something like you do with the mobile home.

@@CAROLDDISCOVER-2025 We have a video skirting the bottom of the trailer. I have a heat lamp under the trailer she will turn on if it gets down around 15 degrees. She will also let the faucet trickle. We need to get a thermometer with remote sensor to check the under trailer temperature to know for sure when the heat lamp is required.
@CAROLDDISCOVER-202516 күн бұрын
@Blu_Grit_Garage I love the idea of the remote sensor for the thermostat under the trailer. On the form we have a pump house, actually a couple of them. We have a trailer out there too. The house out there is fine we'll have to worry about it. But it's getting that time of the year again. I thought about one of remote control thermometers the act as a switch to turn it on and off. To go along with the heat tape. I use a commercial heavy heat tape because what they sell retail seems to burn out. Years ago decades ago my dad a trying to encourage me to get an RV. That way I wouldn't be tied down and I can move and I wouldn't have a rent or house payment. What time you could rent a place to park for $35 a month. I think his thing was that I'd be more likely to move back closer if I done this. But sometimes I wish I had. That's why I relate so well to this video of yours

The older ones with the Bendix hydraulic helper cylinders (exact same part as early Corvettes and Checker Cabs) are fun to work on also. Do not cross the lines on those. If you do, when you start the engine the steering wheel will violently spin back and forth, full travel. Ask me how I know.

@@CAROLDDISCOVER-2025 I still like the simplicity and torque of an old fashioned pushrod engine. Working on the multiple cams and all that timing chain phaser nonsense kind of takes the fun out it for me. Plus I am not all that great with computers and fuel injection wiring. @@Blu_Grit_Garage you know it does not surprise me that you want those two trophies. Because you are the kind of guy and I think your daughter is too that put your nose to the grindstone just keep going at it. I think that's probably a big reason why I jumped on your bandwagon early on. No nonsense and get it done. I don't know how well that sells in today's society but it sure is a hard quality to find. Something else about the trailer brakes and lights. I also carry these magnetic emergency lights. They run on I believe four AA batteries their LEDs they burn bright. They have a high and low setting if I remember right. Always use them on the high setting when I need to. I used to buy them at Farm and home centers and Auto Parts stores. But lately I can only find them for five times the price at truck stops. Oh I found them online turn around 15 to 20.00 a piece. They come in red and they also are available in Amber. I've actually got a couple set of electric brakes that I took off because they caused more trouble on my trailer than they actually worked. As long as I run a 3/4 ton or a 1 ton truck I've never had a problem with the trailer coming around and meeting me in a quick stop 🛑. The two trailers I have a panic brakes work really well. I've got three or four others I've just accumulated over the years. They often just sit on the farm. If you find a way to get trail lights and electric brakes to work without constantly having to work on them, you could sell that information and become a wealthy man. I don't usually give in to defeat but when it comes to trailer lights and electric brakes they just seem to have my number. Hopefully it works out where you can still put out content. I found another dump truck I like the one that your friend has. I didn't stop and look at it but it looked identical. I still be interested in your friends dump truck
