I heard that the a220 a250 and even a35 engines stretch some tensioner and clatter like a diesel, did you also have this problem with the engine? any issues?

I take it that is a standard single garage seems like quite a bit of room in there I’ve heard of people saying they struggle to get in and out of their car in a single garage?

It was a single yes. However it was originally a car port so maybe a couple of inches wider than a standard garage. Not too sure.

Test every code for the radio, I would have, instead of paying someone to do it. Takes time but is free. However I dont know if there is a risk being wrong ”too many times”

Ben, you inspired me years ago to buy an E89 Z4. Still lovjng it, but just an observation of the channel. Your most viewed videos are ones like the Z4, Porsche, car shows, and trios. The cars that people aspire to that become affordable as the cars age a few years. But even more were the videos you shared tine with enthusiasts that drive a similar model. Comradery is your greatest strength, like driving along with Joel, Ollie, etc.

Get the v10 mapped with a valved exhaust, you won’t be disappointed. I’ve done both, apr tune with fab speed valved exhaust. Close to the sound and feel off the Lambo.

Hi glad you enjoyed the video. I’ve done 5k on them and I’m experiencing wobble through the steering wheel. Trying to get them changed under warranty 🤞 seems to be easier said then done

If i had access to a 2014 v10 automatic or a 2012 v8 manual... Any thoughts?! The v10 is actually marketed cheaper from the same dealership, likely because of the lack of manual

2014 v10 should be a facelift so s-Tronic. Which is a far better gearbox than the earlier r-tronics. Go for the v10 if you can. But for me the v8 suits me better and does what I need it to do

With that sort of driving you will never improve your time around nurburgring I tell you, even with cars around, you looked in your rear view mirror more than front, just behind an old A3. What's the reason of having such car and not getting it to the edge at least 90% of what it is cabable of? A casual drive around nurburgring, I agree but do you really need those enhanced brakes for it, to prove something? does not make sense in my opinion. Such cars are existent to make your back sweaty because of adrenaline that it delivers. I own a porsche and I drive it more or less often till it does exactly that. Everyone can push a pedal, but to drive a car how it is intended to be driven, that needs guts

I believe it takes guts to lap the Nurburgring in the first place. I do it for the experience, not necessarily to set lap records. I’m driving the track with no insurance, hence why I’m cautious with such an expensive car. I’ve seen many crashes here and even side swiped a wall in an M4. I will not risk my own car 👍🏼

Good video mate! I've been binge watching your R8 journey lately as they're one of my dream cars. Got to be the gen 1 V8 manual like you previously had. I currently own a MK4 Toyota Supra project car and I've had JDM cars for years, but I keep leaning towards the idea of just selling up and getting something that's properly good out of the box like a manual R8. I'd love to have one! My older brother currently owns an R Tronic gen 1 V8 and has done for 4 years. Every time I have a go in it and listen to that noise I fall in love!

I'm from Bonn, Germany and I was on the track for the first time last year with my best friend in my Astra J OPC and I found us both in your emotions and reactions.
