I really appreciate Pastor. David! To this day I still see in my head Pastor David giving an illustration of when someone falls he was flat on stage🌻💕🙏 To God be the glory

Thank you, David. Just what the Spirirt knew I needed. My word for the year is "Unknown!" That poem gives it flesh and bones. So very real in my life right now!

Interestingly, my Arabic Bible (Van Dyke Version) uses the term 'insaan kaamil' (إنسان كامل) to describe Jacob. Like the Hebrew word 'taam' (which also exists in Arabic in a different form), 'kaamil' means whole; complete; perfect; Jacob is therefore called 'a perfect man'. Now what's remarkable to me about this is that, in Islam, the phrase 'insaan kaamil' is reserved for Muhammad, whom Muslims regard as the ideal man and the example to imitate. Now, this Bible was not translated by Muslims, but any Muslim reading it would undoubtedly take notice of the use of the term, and the translators would certainly have known its connotations. It's possibly the highest praise a man could receive. Just something to think about!

I am just beginning this series, Pastor David. It is already a blessing! Have you done the same type or similar series using the Minor Prophets? If so, I would love to know where to find them. God Bless!

What David help me out with was a sermon and he was teaching a bunch of black people at a college and it was about a just man fall seven times and gets back up but the wicked Falls in Calamity and just struction that's what helped me out to figure out where I was and what kind of person I was for the things that😢

I honestly find this approach quite boring. It’s a running commentary on Jacob’s life. Kind of like reading a commentary. 1 hour and I think I heard maybe 2 very brief applications. Then reminiscing on poems and what could have been. What is happening to david?

It’s like he is presenting the exegesis-- when do we get to application? When I go to work how will this help me? It tickels my mind- sure- theologically deep. This is like biblical wallstreet, i walk mainstreet though
