Great video! Hadn't really thought about doing this very important maintenance on my newly acquired M1151A1. Do you have the part number or link to the kit? Is it the same for all four corners? Keep up the great vids. Chris

...is that thing supposed to be the armored version? I highly doubt the army would give away their armored vehicles willy nilly but that glass panel is thicc as hell ngl

I loved this! I will be buying an M1123 (hopefully) in the next couple of years, if not at somw point (relatively) soon. Thank you for your amazing, intuitive content. I had came across this video as the top result for "M1123 Humvee oil change" and I am pleased. Thank you once again for your effort and good attitude, I love an informative video that is not all "high and mighty" towards people genuinely interested. You have more than earnwd my subscription! ❤

Sorry i have to disagree with almost all your fluid choices. Im sure yours will work just fine, but following is why i would not choose any of those for a HMMWV. First the engine oil. These trucks are older, and you should be using T4 oil not full synthetic T6. T6 has cleaning agents in it and will breakdown old o-rings and rubber components. Brake fluid, you should always stick with DOT 5, spend the 75 bucks on the one gallon and have it for years. Switching these trucks out to T4 is risky and dangerous. Always follow the TM for fluids, dont go getting crazy and buying anything other than what is in the TM. thats my two cents.

Nice sounding truck man I just subscribed to your channel. Can you please see if you can do more videos like this one only make them a lot longer and do some cab views include engine start up because that’s my absolute favorite part. I love the sound of your trip and stay safe and have a great one.

This might sound like an odd question and a thought that popped into my head but from what I'm aware, restoring these tanks can be difficult due to lack of documents and blueprints on them, parts etc. But has anyone tried reaching out to former German tank driver/operators of these machines? I know there's not many ww2 vets left in the world but at some point I would have hoped someone would've tried to reach out.
