You have made it a bit complicated, elsewhere i was showm to just keep the two kings side by side and the fourth king on top of the stack. It was so easy to perform. You can talk the process to the guest or spectator. Good luck

I like to do this by taking the card out and getting another spec to put their finger on top before revealing it as the selection. I’ll try this method though, i like it 👍🏻

It is easier to setup this by working from the other end of the pack so that the 4 of a kind are determined by the top card not the bottom. Working from the top means that you do not have to do any sliding of cards and it looks more natural.

I can’t make it work, probably because I’m an idiot … but I did enjoy watching it …

I dunno what happened, but I accidentally switched spades with hearts with the last one. The numbers remained in correct order. Probably coincidence by cutring exactly a quarter, but still, magicked msyelf haha. Anyhow, I'm happy I managed the second one! (dexterity wise)

Now I only need to learn pinky breaks, false cuts and double flips that look like on card. 😁😆 Great tutorial though for the intermediate sleight of hand people among us. 🎉

I don't like the idea of just adding the number 5, as someone is bound to smell a rat . Much better to produce the card 5.

You forgot to mention that if the spectator cuts an even amount of cards, you wil end up with an even pair after doing the paring shuffle. I wil not matter for the result but you should have mentioned it.

Okay so now I got this cool little trick down and it is awesome. The only thing that bothers me though is that I have gotten a nosebleed a few times trying to rack my brain as to how this could possibly work out! I mean what the heck is going on behind the scenes with those cards, what kind of mathematics are they doing with each other, to where at the end, the printed value of three random cards added to 10 will infallibly give you the total number of cards in that discard pile?? My 🧠's no slouch, but it's not _that_ big 😆 Someone please explain LOL
