Shit gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. I first came upon this with the live studio version of the song. He sounds so sweet with the message at the end of the song. Then you watch this, the actual music video for it, and it gives it completely different context. The way she says “I hope you live” with the same cadence as you would say “I hope you die.” As if to say hoping someone lives (infinitely) with what they’ve done to you is worse than death, and that’s what you hope for them. So much symbolism in this music video. Never watched anything that resonated with me like this. It’s brilliant. F*cking brilliant.

They’re called Blackshape. The name of this song is the first letter of every lyric he sings at the end of the song. An acronym if you will.

I'm usually not a big fan of this kind of genre, but ever since I heard this song nearly a year ago I've been completely captivated by it. Have had it on repeat almost daily for months. Incredible stuff.
