Thank you for your video. Have you ever had spots from the glue left on your fabric after washing your quilt? I have had this problem using another brand of school glue. Thank you for your response!

I never saw how you used the metal rings when you were making it. A little confusing.

As usual n oi matter what you use there's no, or almost NO difference in gloss or the way it looks. Just protections from stains is all I conclude and all the rest is simply worthless hype. I did mine and nothing looks one big glossier or brighter.

I am shortening some shorts for my daughter, and I don’t want to have to get out the sewing machine! Another fabric that does not dry clear with fray-check is silk dupioni, which is a shame, because it frays so easily. You are an excellent teacher, giving clear and understandable info in an approachable way that makes me feel that I can do this!

Thank you for showing just what I needed to know. I will be using Fray Check on velvet that has to be washed and steamed before use. So far the edges of the fabric have bled some dye color on the the paper beneath the fabric. That is okay with me because in the long run the edges will not show when my project is finished.

So the initial application is spray, wipe, wait 2 minutes then buff out with a clean cloth. How about if a 2nd coat is needed? Do I wait an hour for it to cure then add the 2nd coat?

Bit of a stretch to ask here maybe, but could you use this on an intentionally distressed end to lock it in and keep the look without allowing further fraying?

Elmers glue is so awesome! I used Elmer’s glue for fabric painting and it washes out so easily. I’m going to try is on my latest quilt. Will still work great with the pool noodle method.
