I'd be shocked if Yamaha had any interest in producing a full-on 2 stroke hard Enduro bike. Like the 300 xc or xcw. Maybe GYTR might put out some sort of bolt on kit.

I have a Rieju 300 Pro that is basically a Yz 250 on steroids and an e start .If Yamaha does come out with a 300 I would probably buy one.

The fantic 300/310 are the dream, theyve been in the italian market for years without much revision.

Been waiting to upgrade my KDX so hopefully Yamaha can make this a reality , and you know this will ignite a fire under green and red if Yamaha can make the pivot. It would be sweet to get some new 2 smoke offerings from Japan

I would buy a Yamaha 350 in a heartbeat. I love the 350 but I'm getting sick of KTM.

KTM met with creditors today. They owe 1.8 billion Euro. They project to lay off 300. The are in discussions with 3 investors for 700 million Euro ... The Fantic 300 2 stroke with TBI,... is turning out to be a great bike that is part Yamaha. Fantics exhaust is a bit smaller diameter at the head end. So a larger pipe (stock Yamaha 250) might bring the engine more.

I wish yamaha had the same provisions to plate their dirt bikes like ktm.

Add a smart carburetor and starter motor. With that it is already the most fun motorcycle on the market. It is true that it is 250cc but it pulls more than a 300cc hard enduro.

Morgan from Highland Cycles just received a Fantic XE 300 a few days ago. Think he’s letting his sons ride it this weekend to test, since his broken hand is still healing. He’s got 4 or 5 videos on his KZbin channel if you’re interested.

I am going to make some predictions here. Yamaha could have really clamped down on any and all attempts by individuals to bootleg a Fantic over here, but they didn't. Add to that the hiring of both Cody Webb and Kailub Russell, I think what Yamaha is up to here is the following: 1) For 2026 (27) the WR 250F/450F are going to go away, and their lighting kits are going to go into the GYTR catalogue for the YZ (???) FX & X bikes. 2) That Fantic XE300 is going to show up as a YZ300X in 2026, which will be used as an enduro (hard or otherwise) bike. But I think it will also be used to sort out the TBI for future use on the MX and X two strokes, gradually upgrading the YZ125/250 (X) w/counter balancer for the 250/300, six-speed box for the 250X, electric start for all of them, & TBI for all of them. 3) Also, for 2026 in the GYTR catalogue, a 300 head, jug, and piston for the YZ250 (X) ... homologated for MX??? 4) Finally, in 2026 a 350, six-speed, four stroke engine that can be cross platformed into a YZ350FX and a WR350R (dual sport w/appropriate CARB mods & to beef up the service intervals). Maybe down the line cross platformed into a YZ350F (5-speed box) and a 350 Tenere. It will all start with YZ300X and YZ350FX in 2026.

Fantic is already doing what you're asking for. The Minarelli 300cc engine in the Yamaha framed Fantic 300 is the bomb. Yamaha should just import some of those bikes over as a limited edition and rebrand it as a Yamaha. I mean it's basically a YZ250 that's just been cooked and made better by the Italians.

I would rather have a hydraulic clutch and a counter balanced motor. E start is meh...

Hmm.... Yamaha purchase KTM.... NOT.... A loss deal.... The only thinking that Yamaha should do build a bike like the KTM 690 SMC R Street...

Yamaha better put an electric start and 6 gears on any new 2 stroke Hard Enduro bike. Their current 250, 2 stroke is from the Stone Age.

If Yamaha can release an enduro line up with a 350 fourstroke and 300 twostroke it'll be game over.

They bit off more than they could chew buying all the other companies, and the camshaft + China issue was the nail in the coffin. I hate it for the people who work for KTM because they love the products and services they provide, but once leadership makes profits more important and wisdom goes out the window this is what happens. If they lose the community, they'll be putting up the "Under new management sign." It would be hilarious if Husaberg bought them and a 500 2-stoke emerged from the ashes. I want to see a diesel 2-stroke. That would be bad.

Aaron, I have a Kayo KMB60 dirt bike that I bought for my son. It does have a carburetor. During a cold start we are having an issue with the bike starting. Are you familiar with this kind of carb?

Crash update: This video was filmed on the 7th of December. Today is 7 days later. My ribs are bruised, its hard to breathe and be mobile. Messed up my shoulder and hip when i crashed into the riverbed. Might be a couple weeks until i can ride again 😢

I have a problem with 125ccm 4t and when its cold its not starting btw its second carb just wtf and this same problem and after 20try it starting but u need to push throttle till it warm up, and after warm up the engine runs like new😭🙏

I have problem with my 50cc 2 stroke scooter. On start its pull good like 2-3 seconds then the rpm drop alot and after that if you give half or full throtle it hesitate dont want to go faster and after 4-5 second when you hold the throtle full its going crazy fast what you think??
