My Luck Ran Out On This Enduro Ride

Crash update: This video was filmed on the 7th of December. Today is 7 days later. My ribs are bruised, its hard to breathe and be mobile. Messed up my shoulder and hip when i crashed into the riverbed. Might be a couple weeks until i can ride again 😢

Hard lesson learned, chest protector is next piece of gear being added to the list. Might be down n out from riding for a couple weeks 😥

Makes sense why i see everybody wearing gear like they do now. Never riden anything off sand or asphalt so it was cool to see what all enduro riders go through out there. Youre a beast dude! Hope youre feelin a bit better after that. Waking up the next day is always the worst after getting injured, i bet you didnt want to get out of bed from that one. ! Your friend is a real one to bring out there, you two are a good team. Ride safe and get you some protection

27 now, starting to feel older 😅 And yes i always try to get him to go first but its hard when they dont know where the new trails supposed to go. So i end up leading the way. Also no one wants to be in the lead when the brush is soaking wet as the first rider through gets drenched 😆

Oh man, I feel for ya. If i didn't have my Fox chest protector on I know I would have punctured my lung. Hit a broken off tree branch chest high during a hare scramble. Get well soon buddy.

Ouch! I bought body armor just for this type of thing. Rest and heal up and do some shopping its always fun buying more things for riding 😁 I bought the Thor Guardian Roost Deflector so I don't get shish kabobed figure it should do the job.

that was hardcore stuff , get chest protection asap , i cant imagine even try to do that at 51 ....... those climbs in the broken trees all around , no grip at all just bashing your way up the hill .......... thumbs up to you guys , hard ride there

Chest protectors on the order list come payday forsure!!! Been lucky with trees twice now. May not be as “lucky” the third time around! It was some good old fashioned bush thrashing! One way to break in a new section after treefall blocking the original route!
