It's just too small for me. I like the grid size because I write small. But the notes I take are extensive, and I think that I would either have to use a two page spread every day, with tip ins, or give this as a gift to someone else who only keeps track of habits, reading, appointments, simple things. I don't know anyone who uses anything other than a wall calendar and a small note pad. I do a great deal of Bible study, Scripture writing, taking sermon notes, and verse mapping. I am going to jump into journaling for the first time ever, hopefully to help me organize all of my study projects. This will be an interesting journey for me.

Her undated daily planner has the dated dailies (since they don’t tell you the day of the week - just the date. Which is nice bc you can use it any year or start at anytime. Monthlies (dated or undated) are great for collections.

For the monthly.. maybe your “idea of the day” or the “one thing you must do” every day, like a non-negotiable thing? I don’t know, I was just thinking.

22:49 sadly with the TRP drama (which is most prolific with the Hobo products bc they use 47gsm Sanzen TRP) it’s bleeding with all sorts of inks including well behaved FP inks and all nib sizes. It’s been kind of crazy. 😢
@MartinMadeCo2 күн бұрын
That so interesting. I never realized Hobonichi uses 47gsm. That would explain a lot
@JustScribble5 сағат бұрын
@@MartinMadeCo yes when they switched to Sanzen they changed. As far as I know it was always 52 before that with the old TRP.

The Mildliners made in Japan don’t have English color names (of course you can use your google translate app on your phone to get the color off them). The ones made in Mexico have the color name written in English. Though I’ve found the ink is different between them - the Japan ones seem to last longer. But maybe that’s just me 😂

I never even realized they were made outside of Japan, too. And I can definitely believe there’s a quality difference

@ I’ve found the ones sold at Michael’s are generally from MX. but I’m sure they are sold other places too. It was an interesting find when I discovered it a couple of years ago.

Not that you love one more than the other but have different bonds with each one

Exactly. Much different bonds

I think of a catch-all much differently than the way I use this notebook.
