All the hater comments are just jealous people who can't do what she does. Kaycee is one of the best dancers of her generation hands down.

I just realized I watched kaycee grow into the person that she is. 🥹 I feel proud that she has that courage to share something personal about her. And as someone who has been her fan, and struggling with body dysmorphia, and ED, this meant so much to me, I'm inspired.🥹🥹

NASTY POSTS = JEALOUSY Dance Moms was fixed! It was already decided who was going to be the show’s darling…she’s not even dancing anymore. No idea why. But I’ve always thought Kaycee is 10x a better dancer than Maddie Ziegler; not trying to be rude but she should’ve been who got all that attention for her dancing; she’s just incredible!

I adore Kaycee Rice. I believe you made a slight mistake though regarding her age in the description. She was born on October 21, 2022, which presently make her 21 years of age. I remember seeing her transformation in 2019 when she lost a lot of weight she couldn't afford to lose. I was horrified. I am so glad she came back from that and wish her all the best in the future. I can't wait to see what she does next with her dance career.

Kaycee talking about her experience on Dance Moms is actually hilarious to me. I don’t know if anyone remembers when Sophia Lucia was on the show, but she also performed a dance that didn’t air on the show, and multiple of the things said on the show about Sophia’s education was incorrect, making it sound like Sophia didn’t do school full stop. Sophia was also pressured on the show to make sure her turns were perfect because that was the only thing the producers wanted to see, so they cut out like a minute and a half of her solo choreography and only highlighted the turns, which she received hate for. She was also bullied for her voice, and received death threats because she was referred to as “Maddie’s replacement” when Sophia hadn’t actually been told that that was why she was offered the spot on the team.

I can relate to her a lot actually. I was five dancing around in my grandparents garage to music from the 70’s and 80’s. Started classes at age 6 and fell in love with it and decided that I wanted to teach. By the time I had turned 20, I had sat over 17 levels in jazz, hip hop, ballet,, lyrical, musical theatre, contemporary and even line dancing, with over 95-100% passing rate, and I had gotten a few teaching jobs. I loved it so much, but there was definitely a lot of struggle with eating disorders and body shaming. Unfortunately had to quit dance two years ago due to a bad back injury. But Kaycee is fantastic! I could really relate to what she said about the struggles of dance.
