I have an error whenever the twist pivot happens, I followed this tutorial to the bare bones and when I run the game, it says that it has invalid access to the property or key for the mouse motion. Edit: Fixed, just used the github in the description and just did the ctrl c and ctrl v with the code lines

while the entire tutorial was nice, there are some problems, the player starts moving too slow, you can't get precision by going A-D-A-D-A-D, almost like he needs to accelerate instead of just moving, the camera seems to keep a portion of any movement and keeps gliding / rotating, and then if the player moves in a lot of directions it also messes up the camera and makes it decline towards an angle

whenever I try to test out the new bit of code mentioned at 41:53 it gives me the error message "Invalid access to property or key 'rotation_x' on a base object of type 'Node3D' and I can't use the mouse to look around or WASD to move when I start the simulation, it was working before I added that chunk, how do I fix this

the only thing missing is when you want the camera to not clip in wall and the answer is to add a springArm3D in between the pichpivot and the camera3D (child of pitchpivot and is parent of camera3D) and that it move the spring lenght a little bit and you have it (need 2 day before i found that)

@TheOfficialNumber7 oh its not that bad, but if some one said something that to people in your country is wrong you'd be a bit idk, something. but American English isn't perfect, like how axe is ax, that one makes sense cuz that's how you would spell it but it just looks weird

@puffpuffgamer I dunno, I don't really bat an eye to it, sometimes I think "Hm they mustn't be from the UK cus they spell colour without a u" but other than that I don't think too much about it 🤷 then again on the other hand, I often talk to people from America and various other countries I do understand why it's weird to hear ofc, I'm just surprised to see a comment on it, you know? I was under the assumption that we were all used to various different ways to say things on the internet, I mean, I learnt recently that people in South Africa refer to 'BBQs' as 'Braais' which was really interesting To say it'd drive me insane would be wrong, I just don't understand how it can get on someone's nerves, I don't mean to come across as rude, I just like to see other people's perspective on things

use this code to hide mouse point Input.mouse_mode = Input.MOUSE_MODE_CAPTURED also for showing mouse point after pressing esc key if Input.is_action_pressed("ui_cancel"): Input.mouse_mode = Input.MOUSE_MODE_VISIBLE

I really appreciate that you take the time to explain each of the features of the gdscripts, the nodes and the game engine environment. It is very helpful for a beginner, many tutorials gloss over the details and I end up not understanding what any of the code actually means. When i was coding the wasd keys when i went to actually do the code it looks exactly the same as what you wrote but for some reason i couldn't move right or down does anyone know what i might have done wrong? I also rechecked the physical keys were calibrated right and they are.
