What if the person did a BSc in Mathematics but never got 65% average in Mathematics 2 or Mathematics 3, what route can they take to become an Actuary 😢 Please respond 🙏

The ASSA requirements says one needs to have “PASSED” either Mathematics II or mathematical statistics II. If you haven’t try maybe doing a short course with a SAQA recognised institution for either one of them or try looking at other bodies like IFoA

Agreed. I believe this will be the best route for you. Having no knowledge whatsoever will indeed result in failure. Hence there are certain prerequisites for one to be able to qualify to right the exams

in other university there is this thing of them saying if mayb you don’t get this mark mayb for instance they say if you don’t get 60% on this module we are going to move you from actuarial science to another course…so i wanted to ask if University of pretoria also do it 😢
