But I can’t just take the exams whereby I don’t have any knowledge of actuary … I’ll need to pursue the whole 3 year degree won’t I? Otherwise how will one pass the exams lol??? Unless I do self study but jeez that’s abit much don’t you think

Agreed. I believe this will be the best route for you. Having no knowledge whatsoever will indeed result in failure. Hence there are certain prerequisites for one to be able to qualify to right the exams

Could i transfer from the bcom statistics and data science to Actuarial science at Tuks ?
@prudee2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. “ Transfers from other programmes not included above Students who meet the grade 12 admission requirements for BSc (Actuarial and Financial Mathematics) are considered. The student’s complete tertiary academic record will be taken into account. The student should have taken and passed the full credit load in the previous degree for the time the student spent doing that degree. Failed and/or dropped modules will normally disqualify a student from transferring.” I copied this from some document I found online. www.up.ac.za/media/shared/113/new2021-faq-transfers-to-actsci.zp203029.pdf That’s the link to the document. Check it out. Alternatively you can go to the department of actuarial sciences by the mathematics building and ask them what will be required in order for you to transfer.

Hey girl, loved this video... please have a low volume or no background music at all, your voice is too low and the music is too loud.
