Did you checked the ingredients in each càn to account for the flavor and color difference?

I do have all of those in my pantry. The problem is that I don't regularly eat them or particularly love them as is. I certainly would eat them in an emergency situation. I would love recipe ideas for canned chili, canned soups, Chef Boyardee - ravioli, beefaroni, lasagna; Spaghetti O's to jazz them up and/or where the canned good is an ingredient in a meal.

Why does a long term product use the pull tab opening which is not as good a seal as solid can opener opening rather than pull tab opening? This is detrimental to the long shelf life of prepper food. Sounds like a manufacturing greediness problem😮...lol.

Want to boil 2 cups of water fast with wood ect. get a Kelly Kettle. 3 to 4 minutes to boil unless the wood is wet. Uses very little fuel and you can cook on it after a fashion. Check it out.

I made a stove out of a stainless steel mug, similar to the Firemug stove on KZbin. Works great for burning twigs to stretch the available fuel supply, boils 2 cups of water (starting at about 60 degrees) in under 5 minutes. Can also use Esbit and Alcohol stoves in it. 😊

Don't get those walkie talkies, they use FRS frequency. get MURS frequency radios, They can have external antennas and can increase range up to 10 miles, they also have their own set of frequency, but only 5. Even better would be GMRS radios, they require a license (~$35 application to FCC, NO TEST, License applies to Immediate family*) However they share their frequency with FRS. !---->FRS is limited to 2W on Ch 1-7 & 15-22 ; While GMRS is limited to 5W on Ch 1-7 & 50W** on Ch 15-22⨳ & 15R-22R⨳ (0.5W for both on Ch 8-14) GMRS can also have external** antenna that could increase range up to ~20 miles. There's also Amateur Radio (License with test, ~400 question pool) * "Any individual who holds an individual license may allow his or her immediate family members to operate his or her GMRS station or stations. Immediate family members are the licensee's spouse, children, grandchildren, stepchildren, parents, grandparents, stepparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and in-laws." Direct from FCC; Title 47/Chapter 1/ Subchapter D/Part95/Subpart E /§95.1705 ** Not commonly found(if ever) on handheld units, but for mobile ones(Cars, House) ⨳ Ch 15-22 are GMRS repeater outputs (15R-22R) are GMRS repeater inputs; Output Freq is Input Freq minus 5 MHz

Never use a product from a damaged or rusted can....contamination is a higher risk. Keep the cans in a dry place and ALWAYS inspect for damage, there could be a hairline fracture that can let bacteria in. Inspect before buying, and always check the date.
