I have the exact mower, lt2500, and when the deck isn’t engaged, and when it’s at a medium idle, the engine makes the same weird knocking / sputtering noise. Dosent make the noise at all when it’s at low or high idle, or when the decks engaged. Think it just needs a new carb? Carb has been cleaned out. Thanks man

Love the video! I'm shopping for a rake replacement. Do you think this can collect/remove old grass (thatch) from the lawn? My raking days have come and gone. Sweeping the sidewalk is on the way out as well. I was considering a dethatcher, but I think it will destroy the St. Augustine lawn here in south Florida. Appreciate your suggestions. Wished it worked forward and backward. Sometimes pull is easier than push. I've looked and searched for days - need something 'grown folk' friendly for old grass clippings, etc. Thank you!

No this won’t work to dethatch, it’ll only pick up the thatch after dethatching. They make a pull kind with a tractor. VEVOR Tow Behind Lawn Sweeper 44” 25 cu. ft Large Capacity Heavy Duty Durable Leaf & Grass Collector kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3zMhqOgaZWIftU

@ Oh yes! I have browsed and compared dozens of corded dethatchers. My concern is that it will destroy the St. Augustine - I need it to rake - not shred. Light duty. 🤔 Any recommendations?

@@cmarin5904 ya those can be very harsh on the grass unless you set it on the highest setting, the only other thing is this below but you need a lawn tractor for that. amzn.to/3CkScVX

38yr diesel tech here maybe im slow or something but Why would you put the shut off valve on the engine side of the fuel filter and not on the gs tank side ... it should be between the gas tank and the filter so fuel can be turned off during a filer change also allowing for control of draining the tank if needed... the gentleman in the vid is winterizing the engine so there for he is right in his actions as for the winterizing part I do apologize again sir I did not see the winterizing part

Awhile back I removed the spark plug on a flooded Briggs pressure washer engine (needle wasn't seating) in order to release the gas in the crankcase while pulling the engine over. Sure enough, the gas gushed out and hit the plug wire (that was still sparking) thus causing a fire. Put it out with a nearby water hose but learned a lesson. From now on, I either wrap the end of the plug wire with elec. tape or be sure it is well out of the way of the plug hole!

bro got 18 different weapons but no survival gear. gonna kill everything in sight and then die to the elements in 48 hrs 🤣 for real though, off the top of my head - life straw, nested metal canteen/pot, flint/lighter, tarp, rope would be a good starting point. most of that not too large or heavy. could easily remove multiple of your different cutting tools/weapons as they overlap each other if out of space.
@MowersNBlowers

Well I have water(bladder) and food(mre), so don’t need the straw or canteen, I have a fire starter and rope(in survival kit), poncho as the tarp. 72hrs is all I need. Then maybe return home for status and replenishment
