I remember when ‘Eruption’ when it first came out. I knew I HAD to have that cassette! Needless to say, I wore it out. Hands down, Eddie Van Halen was and still is the greatest guitarist EVER. NOBODY has ever surpassed his creativity. Sure, lots of people try to copy him, but there’s only one Eddie.

I just turned 60, without a doubt, hands-down the most incredible live band I have ever seen when they were in their prime. Just mesmerizing. Eddie was a true gunslinger, he took no fucking prisoners, left it all out there. I am so blessed to have seen them six times.

I loved seeing Van Halen in concert back then. Every tour I seen them. And youngster today. This is a stage setup. This is a real concert. Hire people to set your stage for you and play a full concert. Its gives people jobs, sounds and looks awesome! Trust me. its so much better.
